Videos of Team Legends from the 2011 New York Comic-Con

Well, the New York Comic-Con has come to a close, and everything that was going to happen there has happened. As we begin trawling around for items of interest, we’ve checked in with 100,000 Strong for Mega Man Legends 3 Facebook group to see if they ever got a make-up interview. And while there is no sign of that (yet), what we did find were some videos of Team Legends’ activities.
Perhaps the most interesting is the footage captured from what we think is the “peaceful demonstration” by the group, as they marched the aisles of the convention center, spreading their message proudly as they closed in on their destination, Capcom’s booth:

Servbots, Mega Men, and Dr. Wily, oh my! And props to the guy belting out Mega Man 2 (edit: or Mega Man Legends… whoops) tunes on the saxophone.

(Edit: Video taken down upon request; we’re told there should be a better version coming soon.)

Prior to that, YouTube user BlueWizard42288 posted some short videos each day from the “Get Me Off the Moon” booth. Day 1 gives us a look at the early goings of the show, before the convention gets into full swing:

…Mega-love the Mega-sketch on the Mega-table.

Day 2 features more sketches on their tablecloth, a television setup for playing Mega Man Legends 2, and a look at some of the signatures they’ve gathered for the effort:

And Day 3 shows us a closer look at the cool Servbot banner, which features pieces of art submitted by fans from all over the world:

And finally, if you didn’t watch their live-stream, they had a wrap-up for each day’s events, each of which you can see on their UStream channel.

All said, this was a pretty impressive showing, all things considered, and we do applaud the persistence and tenacity they have put into their efforts. It should be interesting to see where they go from here!
