It's been a little while since we last heard anything around these parts from Team Chrono X and their ongoing work on their fan game, "Mega Man Battle Network: Chrono X". But today, that silence is broken as Version 5 (or V5, if you prefer) of the demo is now available for you to check out.
The new demo includes a new look and new Navis, such as PirateMan.EXE and CactusMan.EXE, as well as a new way for MegaMan.EXE to use the power of others in the MeM.E.N.T.O. System.
What's more, multiplayer is now included, so you can challenge your friends to a NetBattle, no matter where in the world they are (well, so long as that place has an internet connection, one assumes -- slightly trickier in real life than in Battle Network's always-online world).
Perhaps most incredible of all is that you'll be able to play the demo across multiple devices -- the PC version is available now, and an Android version is to follow soon. Check the game's website for more details on that (as they come) and how to download.
Thanks to Raul and Jake for the tips!
