Mega Man Legends 3 Documentary Digs Up Feelings From 5 Years Ago

A few weeks ago, Get Me Off The Moon celebrated their fifth anniversary by beginning two new initiatives to stir up and maintain interest in the Mega Man Legends series. More recently, they’ve posted the fruits of another labor designed to educate and inform those who may not have all the information about how development of Mega Man Legends 3‘s Prototype Version went down.

So take a seat and look back at how the game was announced, the events which transpired and gave fans hope and excitement as well as dashing those same hopes as disappointment rained down with the decline of the Devroom and eventual cancellation of the project.

One thing I have to say: If you were there when things went down, prepare to have some long-buried feelings bubble back up to the surface if you watch this. At least, that’s what I felt watching it.

It does end on a more hopeful note, however, thanks to the recent re-releases of Mega Man Legends, Mega Man Legends 2, and The Misadventures of Tron Bonne on the PlayStation Store. Just be prepared for a bumpy ride before you get there.
