Mighty No. 9 Signature Edition Only for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

A few days ago, the folks at Deep Silver revealed that there would be a special “Signature Edition” of Mighty No. 9 when it releases this September. However, by virtue of being posted to the PlayStation.Blog, details regarding other non-Sony platforms were left out.

Since then, some new info has emerged, thanks to the modern-day wonder that is Twitter:

In case you’re unable to read it clearly, Shadow Enz asked Deep Silver whether the Signature Edition would be coming to the Wii U, and they confirmed that this version, already exclusive to the U.S. (no Canada? Have to look into that… that’s cutting past the bone), would only be available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

As one would expect, fans aren’t taking the news very well (more on the Wii U thing than the U.S.-only thing). Does this affect your plans to purchase the game?
