Mega Man II and Battle Chip Challenge Come to Europe August 7th

Pretty much just what the title says.

According to a report over on Nintendo Life, Europe will be receiving a double-dose of Mega-action on Thursday, August 7th as both Mega Man: Battle Chip Challenge (whose Japanese equivalent was released last week) and the Game Boy version of Mega Man II will both be arriving on the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS eShops, respectively.

Battle Chip Challenge, the Game Boy Advance title, is stated to have a price of €6.99 / £6.29 when it goes on sale, whereas Mega Man II will purportedly go for €3.99 / £3.59.

Admittedly, the release of Battle Chip Challenge after only releasing the first Mega Man Battle Network is a curious move, seeing as how it chronologically takes place after the third game, even referencing some of the events of the previous game. Almost as curious as the way these Battle Network spin-offs never seem to include the full “Battle Network” title in their names.
