Just days after releasing, Rockman Xover has achieved third place on iTunes' Top Free Apps. While that's not necessarily a feat in itself, the bigger news might come from it being #63 on iTunes' Top Grossing Apps and climbing, ahead of Beeline's (Capcom's mobile subsidiary) and Capcom's own mobile games. That's pretty good for a non-GREE and non-Mobage game. What's more, of the 1,136 ratings, 889 of them are five star reviews. Most of them are admittedly referral codes, but that's still at least 889 people who have the game and care enough to rate it and publicize their active participation.
From the little I've seen played of the game, it's actually a huge step up from most Mobage games we've seen hit North America. This could definitely tear me away from my daily Tiny Tower sessions.
