Capcom Gearing Up for 20th Anniversary Event

Capcom of Japan has posted some details about next month’s Rockman 20th Anniversary event in Tokyo. The event will house:

• An anniversary corner that looks back on Rockman’s 20 year history.
• Lots of 20th anniversary goods. A limited number of crystal key chains will be handed out.
• A stage event with a special guest speaker.
• Playable demos of Ryuusei no Rockman 2.

To recap, the event is occurring on November 18th from 9am to 4pm. It will take place at the Culture Assembly Hall, exhibition hall B in Ikebukuro’s Sunshine City, a part of the Toshima ward in Tokyo. There’s no entrance fee to get in, so if you just happen to be in the area definitely check it out.

In the meantime, Capcom has put a new wallpaper on their Rockman 20th anniversary site. It’s the character collage poster art that was seen at the Tokyo Game Show. It’s a nice mixture of well known and obscure characters.
