Watch Capcom Play Mega Man 9 Today on Unity
We’re entering the final stretch as Capcom Unity clamps down to take on one of the Blue Bomber’s latest adventures, Mega Man 9.
Starting at 3pm PST today (rather than the usual Friday), Brett Elston will not only be facing the challenges concocted by the evil– *ahem* –”Dr. Light,” but also those of our own malevolent master of mayhem, Heat Man. Will they be able to overcome and earn yet another holiday?
Plus, while it’s not set in stone just yet, if you keep tabs on how many times Brett dies as well as how he dies and enter it in the appropriate comments section (keep an eye on Capcom Unity for the official post), then maybe there will be some cool swag in it for you.

They’ll probably just end up canceling it
^Ouch
Nah, the streams have survived much worse fan dissonance than that. Looking forward to catching the replay!
@ DURR
It wasn’t funny the first time, and it’s certainly hasn’t changed since.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to see how those guys will survive the wrath that is Plug Man.
@ DURR
You do realized that this is old news, right? Streams don’t get canceled unless there’s a technical difficulties or something, and then they’ll get it on air again. And what Heat Man said.
It’s only funny if it’s true!
On that note, here’s a funny video!

Why today? I gotta work tonight. I may have to miss it
Oh well…… It’s kind of odd that they do today instead of their usual Friday streams.
@Blues1990
I gotta say, I expected that joke to get less funny over time, but apparently there is no law of diminishing returns when it comes to Capcom’s fan-trolling.
Ah well, Brett, have fun anyway. Even if Splash Woman and Proto Man are the only reasons you can tell that you’re not playing Mega Man 2.
Did we ever figure out the secret..? Or did they ever tell us..? I had forgotten all about it.
11 Deaths.
Neat run though. But yea, gotta save those Concrete Shots next time.
