We Got a D-Arts VAVA Figure for You to Win!
First of all, yes, the judging for the Zero Type 2 contest is still ongoing. There are a number of amazing entries, and the judging is coming much more difficultly than we expected. This is in part because of the very loose standards for what to evaluate entries on. Bear with us a little longer; I hope to get the results up this week.
And in truth, the amount of time and thought necessary to go into contests is weighing on me a lot lately. So for the June contest, I’m making things very simple. We have one D-Arts VAVA figure to give away. Sorry it’s not the usual two, but since this was a Tamashi Web Exclusive in Japan, it didn’t have the usual discounts.
To enter, you simply need to comment in this post about your favorite Mega Man X moments. You may only comment once, and if we find anyone making multiple comments, they will be disqualified. The winning comment will be chosen at random. Please use a valid e-mail address so we can contact you if you win! Also, if you are under 15, please have your parents’ permission for us to send you the figure in the mail. We will ship to any country so long as it’s a country that can receive packages from Japan.
The deadline for making your comment is Saturday the 30th at the turn of midnight, US PST. Good luck to you all!

Hands down my favorite moment has to be from the first Mega Man X. Zero went inside the boss room to fight Vile but got captured, then it was up to X to beat him but he trapped him as well.
Zero broke free from his electrical bonds and sacrificed himself by self-destructing in order to destroy Vile’s robot. Then out of nowhere, X broke free as well and recovered all his energy and beat Vile.
After that, Zero gave his final words and they gave me the feeling of needing to avenge his death. That’s not something games made today make me feel.
My favorite Megaman X moment (or moments, rather) come from my countless exploration of the first game.
First, the only reason I ever got this game (and ever got into the Megaman series in the first place) is because my neighbor had just got Megaman 7, and I thought it was one of the coolest things I’d ever seen. That night, me and my brother begged to go to Blockbuster and see what Megaman games they had, but we couldn’t for whatever reason. The next night, however, for whatever reason, my mom had actually gone out and bought Megaman X for us while we were at school. We played that game all night after that, only managing to beat Storm Eagle in our roughly 2 or so hours of playing before being sent of to bed.
The next day my brother came back with advice from school: which boss was the easiest boss to beat. Chill Penguin got knocked down after a few attempts, and we continued to play with our new weapon, boots, and password in tow, still not fully understanding the game.
The next day my brother went to his friend’s house, and came back loaded with knowledge of hidden parts and items, and how to defeat the rest of the Maverick bosses. With that, we set out, and felt like we were exploring a whole world. We managed to find about 6 of the heart tanks and all the armor pieces but the armor with what his friend had told him, but needed to find the rest on our own.
Just the feeling of going through these different stages, jumping on every wall and down every hole, and using all the different weapons in different ways made such an impression on me. The fact that these secrets were all there, just waiting for you to jump off of the beaten path and find them, was so exciting to me as a kinder-kiddy, because I’d never been behind the controller to a game where I’d felt even that many choices before. I’d only played beat-em-ups and more linear platformers at that point, so Megaman X felt like a playground rather than the pathways other games laid out for just the slightly freedom in movement that it gave.
We found every secret in this game. From some sheer act of luck and perserverance, we found EVERY secret. We loaded up our lives in the Armored Armadillo stage, and decided we were going to check every area in hard to reach places that would require multiple attempts to make, and set out to try to jump above the cliffface at the end of the stage while filling out our subtanks. After 9 lives worth of health, attempts, and frustrated suicides, suddenly, we thought we had done it. A capsule, which we thought was hidden on the ledge above, popped up in front of us. We had no idea what the movie reference was, or even how to do a Hadoken, but we had found another capsule. With that shining, brief moment in our rearview, we set our looking for more secrets, until we had searched, disappointedly, every nook and cranny of the game, until finally attempting to try countless different random passwords looking for new goals. Completely mastered, we moved onto the next game: Megaman X2, only this time, having moved in time and in location, and with the help of the internet instead of my brother’s friend.
I still remember those days before having the internet, with only the knowledge of other kids to guide you. Megaman X not only is the best memory of that time that I have, having been the last one I experienced, but also the easily one of the best memories I have of my brother and the fun times we used to have together playing games and turn-taking. I have no idea how much time we put into the game to master it, but I don’t regret a single moment. It built a great experience for me, and remains one of my fondest memories of gaming, and led me to meet this community, who I’ve spent most likely more time communicating with than playing the actual games. Megaman X remains my favorite game of all time, and always will, and it’s because of the great time I had first experiencing it and how it’s influenced my life in meeting the Megaman community and vastly increasing my love for gaming.
Definitely the first time we see Zero and he saves X. That’s when I was hooked for life!
My favorite Mega Man X moment was finding the secret chest armor capsule in Sting Chameleon’s stage in MMX, and fighting the green robot that guards it. I had no idea what I was doing, and he took a lot of shots to beat, making me wonder if it would ever end, but it was so worth it!
My favorite moment of the megaman x series has to be when Zero saves you from Vile in the first game. Fighting Vile for the first time I was freaking out because how could this be the opening stage boss and I don’t know if I am hurting it at all. Then after I was “defeated” the sound of the shot charging up and the awesome music beginning to play as a red reploid with a long blonde pony tail blasts the badguy you couldn’t even scratch’s arm off and sends him running.
my favorite megaman x moment was when it was released that entire game is just plain up awesome
I would have to say, learning about Zero’s backstory how he came to be was exciting. Being a stand alone character in his own spinoff series was great but seeing him come out of his capsule and see the devastation he can do makes u love having him our your side
By far the moment that blew me away the most is from seemingly (IMO) the most underappreciated X game: X5.
The tension had been building up to X and Zero’s clash for a few games and Zero had finally gone rogue. We all knew Zero was made by Wily, but when they threw X into the first “Zero” stage, I was blown away to see a near exact replica of Quickman’s stage. And low and behold, they even gave you a time stopper to make it through the lasers again.
To me, X5 was the love letter to all Megaman players since the original series began. It was like seeing a series of novellas come full circle, and there in that first stage, up until the battle with Zero, we kept getting to see old classic Megaman stages and enemies, thus bringing home the real battle: Wily vs. Light, even after their deaths. The deeper you descend into the crater felt like unearthing the past– almost like finding the ruins of Wily’s old fortresses. The battle with Zero was like two sons deciding whether to end a family feud that had gone on for over a century.
So yeah, I was fanboy-ing for the latter half of that game.
My fav moments in Megaman X series is getting the Hadouken and Shoryuken powers all that hard work gets an awesome reward
I have 2 favorite Mega Man X series moments, both of them are about Zero:
The first is in Mega Man X2, the first X game I ever played. The moment in particular is when you encounter Sigma’s black Zero copy, after getting all of the real Zero’s parts. You’re like “crap, I have to fight this guy?” but then Zero’s theme starts playing and he destroys it, saving you just in time. Awesome.
The second awesome moment is from the intro stage of Mega Man X3. X gets debilitated, then part of the roof explodes open and Zero drops in, and you hear the X3 version of Zero’s theme for the first time. And you get to play as him for the first time in the series! So cool.
Those two moments lead to me playing as Zero almost exclusively when given the choice in later X games.
My most memorable Mega Man X moment was probably the first time I discovered that hidden mini-boss in Sting Chameleon’s level, after hours of attempting to master the slide-jump. Then again there are so many moments for me in that game. The first time you see the effects of defeating a particular boss on someone else’s stage, like Spark Mandrill’s after you beat Storm Eagle. I played that game constantly, and to this day it remains my favorite game of all time.
Ah man, my favorite moment in the entire series can be boiled down to Mega Man X 1. Renting (then later buying it) and spending my after school afternoons playing it. After weeks of trying I finally managed to beat Sigma.
I was on cloud nine! I dropped my controller to the floor and did a big jump. I screamed yeah so loud my mom came to check on me to see what was up. The next few days I told all my friends, I was like a hero to my fellow 3rd graders. I made a lot of new friends thanks to that.
That time the green biker dude exploded.
My favorite moment in the X series is in Megaman X2 after you collect all the pieces for Zero and your on your way to fight Sigma and a fake Zero is there waiting for you. Just when you think you have to fight him three blasts come through and destroy the fake Zero and it was the real Zero that did it. That shows that original is better than a copy.
My favorite part is in megaman x8 when X, Zero, and Axl were getting prepared to defeat Lumine, and not just that, the cut scenes in megaman x8 were amazing and the voice actors for X, Zero, and Axl are amazing as well!!!!
All of the little things and attention to detail from the original MMX are what really captured me. Cutting off Flame Mammoth’s trunk, seeing his stage frozen, shocking off Armored Armadillo’s armor, seeing water in Sting Chameleon’s stage after beating Launch Octopus, multiple types of destructible environmental hazards, the instructional level design that didn’t require a constant bombardment of “Hey, do this!”. Plus, the drama of the entire first and second Vile scenes really stood out for their originality in the series.
MMX was an excellent refresh to the sites, but all of the little things really came together to make it a truly memorable experience.
My most memorable Mega Man X moment was in X1 when I fought Storm Eagle. I had played Maverick Hunter X (one of my first MM games) before I had the chance to play the original. At the time, I had had no idea where any of the armor parts were hidden, so I simply ignored them. I ended up playing through most of the game without the dash boots. As a result, Storm Eagle, who should have been the easiest boss in the entire game, ended up as one of the most infuriating. My unorthodox playing methods turned MHX into an even harder game than it should have been. When I finally played the original and had the power-ups’ locations memorized, I was able to destroy Storm Eagle with minimum effort! Today I can’t believe how much of a challenge he gave me in the past!
My favorite moment in the X series had to be in the original Mega Man X. After seeing Zero (apparently) die in my arms, I spent an entire day working my way towards Sigma to get my revenge. Years later, and with many more Mega Man game sunder my belt, he seems like a pushover – but at the time it was the most challenging battle I’d faced in a game, and I can still remember the little rush of adrenalin when I realized I had finally won the game.
My most memorable Mega Man X moments all have to do with the rivalry between X and Vile.
Reaching the end of Central Highway and first encountering Vile had a lasting impact on me. Here’s this villain in his Ride Armor that drops out of an enormous airship, doesn’t say a word, immediately rushes X, beats him senseless, AND talks smack right afterwards. Had it not been for Zero’s timely save, X’s legacy would have been cut short right then and there! For X to be beaten down so early on, I was certain that this was the beginning of a long feud between him and Vile. Their rivalry got more and more personal as the series went on as well, what with Zero literally sacrificing himself to save X from Vile one more time, Vile aggressively pursuing X during MMX3 and swearing to haunt him forever, and constantly getting in X and his friends’ way during MMX8 while arrogantly taunting them every chance he got. A big grin would run across my face whenever Vile would make an appearance, because I KNEW **** was about to go down whenever X and Vile crossed paths.
Vile was brash, cocky, and a real pest, which contrasted X’s more noble personality quite nicely in my opinion. These different attitudes definitely made their rivalry even more awesome. X is looking to bring peace to the world, where as Vile is only looking to cause havoc for X and his friends. It’s these qualities that make X vs Vile a great and unforgettable rivalry that I will always consider as one of the best things about the Mega Man X series.
So many comments and I don’t expect to win anyway, so I’ll instead talk about the impressions the games had on me.
A friend introduced me to the series. Up until that point, I had never known about Megaman X. The first game I was introduced to was X5, where he showed me a few levels and cutscenes. I had to know more, so I watched a playthrough of it, and I was hooked. I think what left the biggest impression on me was the relationships between the characters. The villains weren’t just generic bad guys, but actual people (or reploids, in this case) who had lives and jobs and suffered a sad fate thanks to the maverick virus. Then there were the hunters, Signas, Douglas, Alia, etc, and I could sense that cooperation between them, but also a sort of disunity between their ideals as well, such as when Lifesaver snitches to X about the Zero Virus, which results in a pointless fight between X and Zero.
Of course, the biggest impression the games left on me was the relationship between X and Zero. They had different ideals and different attitudes towards the world, but in the end desired the same thing -peace- and worked with each other and for each other to achieve that goal. I could feel their strong relationship and unity, and it’s difficult for me to think of one without the other because they are tied to each other so tightly. They remain two of my favorite characters, if not #1 favorite characters, ever.
The other huge impression the games left on me was the sense of “reality” in the games. Now, I’m not implying these games make any sense even in the realm of their own continuity whatsoever because they quite frankly do not. What I mean is that, using X5 as an example again, is that there is a sense of futility in everything you do. You’re fighting something that isn’t even a human or robot, but a virus designed to mutate and survive indefinitely. Fighting in each game feels like simply delaying the inevitable, and even when the virus is supposedly made “irrelevant” by the new gen reploids in X8, it shows that even without a virus, there will always be fighting because evil will always exist. As the X series progress into the Zero series, the feeling gets even stronger, with 60% of humans and 90% of reploids getting wiped out before the Zero series even starts. Even though eventually peace is supposedly attained, it makes you question yourself. “Is it all worth it?” “Is killing ever truly right?” “Even if peace is attained, does it justify the cost?” “Did they truly deserve to die?” And so on.
Perhaps I am reading too far into things, but those were the impressions the X (and by extension, Zero) series gave me. Going into the series, I didn’t expect it to be so dark and thought-provoking after the relative innocence and quirkiness of the original Megaman and Megaman BN series. Because it left such a powerful mark on me, the Megaman X and Zero series, and the characters, have held a special place in my heart for years, and they always will.
Damn, that was longer than I thought it would be. Sorry, my comment turned out to be a little more introspective than I had first planned.
;
There are so many good moments… And it’s incredibly hard for me to decide… So let’s do X5, in Sigma’s first stage, where the level resembles Quick Man’s stage… And then you reach the boss room, and you see the Dr Wily emblem.. And there you fight a Black Devil. Being a huge original Mega Man fan ever since the first game, it was such a jaw dropping moment to see all of that in Mega Man X5. (and Duff McWhalen had Bubble Crab’s music, which has to be my favorite song from X2, besides the intro stage)
I have two things, really. First is, as many have said, Zero’z sacrifice in MMX. That really pushed me to beat that final boss and finish the game. The other this is, again from Zero, “What am I fighting for!?”
X5 had a lot of little things, such as the reprise of Zero’s theme in the title music, that made it feel like everything was coming full circle. The biggest of those was the fight against the Shadow Devil–an iconic classic series boss, the fury of the organ playing Wily’s MM1 battle theme, and most of all, that distorted W glowing in the background.
These things were emblematic of more than just the bridging of the classic and X series; they symbolized the size and scope of influence a single man has had. His actions had significant ramifications a century later–and as we would learn in other games/series, centuries beyond.
The same is true of Light, of course, which I felt was also given something of a nod when the Light hologram actually interacted with/repaired X; his reach, too, extended forever beyond his years. We all recognize the theme of fighting for everlasting peace, but there is a theme of the power of an individual also. We see it in Megaman, X, and Zero… but it’s always been there in the doctors, too. I’ve long respected and appreciated that the contributions of two single, brilliant minds altered the course of history and even existence.
That was never explicitly stated or bashed over players’ heads with heavyhanded exposition–a glowing W said it all. In the midst of everything going on in the X series, in X5–it could all be traced back to R and W.
One of my favorite mmx moments was in X1 when i completed the armor for the first time. it gave me the sense of confidence I needed to beat Sigma.
Another was the time my mom surprised me with a copy MMX3!
Also was MMX4 – the whole game. So many things I hadn’t seen before like anime cutscenes (X4 was the first game I played with such) female reploids. And I liked the detail of some of the reploid designs, as well as the awesome music that, IMO, allowed me to feel the story. finally, the little touches such as the after-image silhouettes that appeared after X and Zero dashed added to an already awesome experience.
And Command Mission, where there were a lot of moments where you saw X and Zero struggle.
Those are some that I can recall of hand.
My favorite MMX moment was fighting sigma at the end of MMX1. My friend in grade school introduced me to MMX (we were both 8 years old at the time) and I was floored when I played it for the first time. The game was more or less the coolest game I ever played. My friend played it often but never beat sigma. So the day he showed me the game we played it all the way through and got to his final form. We figured like all the other bosses he had a particular weapon he was weak against. We cycled through all the weapons but some how we skipped Rolling Shield. So me and my friend were freaking out cause we thought he had no weakness (since we believed we had used all 8 maverick weapons lol). So we fought tooth and nail to beat him using the lvl 3 charge shot. We did our best to dodge but we got hit so much we used all 4 subtanks. By the time we had 1 or 2 units of health left we finally managed to hit him with the final shot and beat the game. I have never had a more fun experience playing MMX.
My favorite Megaman X moment was in Megaman X4 when I finally beat the game with both Megaman and Zero. I also enjoyed playing through X4 with the Ultimate Armor, which made X’s story a breeze.
My favorite Megaman X moment was in X5, when you let Eurasia crash into earth and Zero remembers his purpose, which probably was the result of all the foreshadowing in the first 3 games. I’m talking about the X vs Awakened Zero fight, probably my favorite boss fight of the PS1 trilogy. Even when you think you are about to win Zero goes all out and unleashes the Genmurei at your face. Instant death. Definitely one of the best moments in the series.
My favorite Megaman X moment is pretty much the entire game, and by that I mean X’s development and growth from being nothing and looking up to the almighty ‘Zero’ to becoming so much like ‘Zero’ while surpassing him in the process and finding his place in the world as protector by having a showdown against the notorious ‘Vile’ & ultimately the man that has been orchestrating all of the events ‘SIGMA’!
Such a mighty hero!
My favorite Megaman X moment is when in Megaman X3, Bit and Byte started to stalk you in almost all the stages. They were hard as hell, but really fun to beat.
The time when you finally get your dash boots game ain’t the same if you can’t slide
My favorite X moment would have to be the beginning of X1 when Zero tells X how much stronger he will be, then turn around near the end of the game and give his arm blaster up so X can defeat sigma
My favorite moment in Megaman series is in Megaman X3.
I got Megaman X3 for my birthday 16 years ago from today. I was a big fan of Megaman X and begged my mother to purchase me that game to give my poor boy’s heart some more of Blue Bomber.
Actually, I should confess at this point, that I was more fan of the red robot ninja, Zero, than the Blue Bomber himself.
I wanted to play Megaman X3 because I heard Zero was in it and wanted to know how he survived! (Having lost the chance to play X2)
Imagine my surprise when X gets captured in the beginning and Zero comes down to the rescue with his kickass theme.
But wait. Why isn’t Zero moving? What’s with that life bar? ZOMGLORDHAVEMERCY I GET TO PLAY ZERO?? I GET TO CUT PEOPLE WITH ZA LAZA SWORD?!
My jaws dropped and I kept playing the beginning over and over again to relive that moment.
That – finally getting to play Megaman’s cooler senpai – was my favorite moment of Megaman X.
My favorite Megaman X moment was the battle between Zero and X ’cause it finally revealed a certain “secret” about Zero that many gamers and megaman fans around the world were not sure about until then: Dr. Wily created Zero nearly 100 years ago as his ultimate weapon to take over the world. Zero was destined to fight X, and that battle showed us how strong the frienship and trust between X and Zero were. Some of us have (or had) a best friend, someone close to us whom we can speak with about so many things, no matter if he/she shares our gender or not, having trust on such person gives us strenght in many ways, and at the same time, we share an emotional connection with his/her (we feel sad when they suffer and joyful when they’re happy), that battle made me feel like I want to lose and win at the same time, I knew that both of them must fight each other ’cause it was destiny, somehow, but I think that meaning changed a lot both being best partners after fiercely battling and overcoming powerful enemies, side by side (since the first Megaman X installment). Zero had just killed his beloved Iris and X had his naiveness exposed and mocked by Double in X4, so both of them were (most) not prepared to fight his best friend at that moment, I empathized with both Zero and X at that moment, no matter if I play as Zero or X. I still feel kinda sorry for them every time I play that part even after so many years, but I think that battle was epic and meaningful not only for the X series, but for the megaman universe.
Megaman X was the first videogame series I played that made me develop a connection of empathy with the protagonist, for that (and many other things) is what I call myself a megaman-fan and I’m proud of it =)
My favorite Megaman X moment was when I first fought Sigma on the Super Nintendo version. It was so overwhelming, I had no clue how to defeat him. It gave me the chills due to the music in the beginning, but the music overall for Megaman X is by far my favorite of the series. Sigma’s final form was a force that couldn’t be reckoned with. I didn’t know we use the Shield Armadillo’s attack and got owned by Sigma. Holy cow… My 6 year old self back then had no clue how to approach such a battle. But.. it was my first megaman game, and the one i cherish the most!
My favourite part of Megaman X is the beginning where you fight your first “boss”, but then Zero comes in like a total awesome dude that he is and saves you. You get to sit there and be all like, “Wow, I want to be strong like that guy!” And then you go about your business like a weak little dude that you are, only to continue to progress with the game and become just as strong as he is! Awesome!
First of all I must say that I am a huge Mega Man fan and love them all & I own them all (especially the original franchise and the “X” franchise) i was born when the original Mega Man came out for the NES (ya Mega & I are practically brothers ha!) Anyways, my favorite moment from the first X game was probably when Zero showed up to rescue X from the clutches of Vile & his death grip from the giant mech suit that he was using. That was pretty cool. Although I believe my most favorite of all would probably be the backstory cutscene of Sigma & Zero from Mega Man X4. It really showed character depth for the both of them. It also showed just how severe it was for Zero to keep contol of his true programming while part of his programming was made to still be loyal to Dr. Wily. Hence the brutal fight between Zero & Sigma. Its a shame that there was no explanation within the plot showing how Zero overcame that. In fact it was never brought up again in the rest of the franchise. Zero never even had another outburst strangely. Lastly, an honorable mention for me as a favorite moment was basically the whole animated movie of “The Day Of Sigma” that was attached to the PSP version of “Mega Man Maverick Hunter X” as an unlockable feature. This movie kicked ass (btw if anyone knows where I can get a DVD or Blu-Ray copy of that movie please email me because I no longer have the game it came with. Thanks!) This movie really explained why Sigma freaked out and became the villian we all know and love from this franchise. Growing up playing this game I always knew that Sigma was once a good guy and I wanted to know just what the heck happened. Well this movie tells it all. I think there were some plot holes and honestly the movie could have been a little longer than what it was but as is, its not a bad flick. Like FF7:AC you really need to have prior knowledge of the franchise to really understand everything that goes on in the movie but if Mega Man ever got to Hollywood this is where I suggest it start. Only difference is expand the movie to bring in newcomers to the franchise. But its good on its own merit as I said just not as perfect as I hoped. Still want a copy though. Well thats pretty much my top moments from the X franchise. In reality though I love every installment.
My favorite moment was in Megaman X4 when we discover that Zero was a maverick once and fought sigma who was a maverick hunter at the time. The fight was awesome and the look on zeros face showing how mean and psycho he really was at that time. It makes me think what would have happen if sigma really died and Zero was still a maverick.
Mine was easily in Mega Man X3, the entire intro stage. The music was nothing short of epic and it was the first time we really got to see anything of Hunter Base other than a single room. Then, what?! A Hunter has gone Maverick?! He’s captured X?! Why can’t I do anything?! He’s completely off screen now! What in the worl–
OH MY GOD I’M PLAYING AS ZERO!!
Then after several moments of pure, unrelenting destruction Zero’s obviously superior starting abilities, you rescue X, resume control of him, and fight that ENORMOUS boss. Sure, it wasn’t as big as the intro stage boss from X2, but this thing was FAR more threatening, if not just in terms of appearance then in terms of actually having to try to beat it.
The feeling persisted through the entirety of Mega Man X3, and without that intro stage it just wouldn’t have been as memorable.
I assumed when it said post “here” it meant Capcom Unity.
Anyway, the first and possibly the best one that comes to mind would be the part in Mega Man X where Zero sacrifices himself to help X. After successfully defeating each of the 8 Maverick bosses, X is finally able to reach Sigma’s stage where he’s once again confronted by Vile. After a valiant attempt to take him down, you quickly realize that all your efforts and achievements prove useless.
Just when you believe X will meet his demise, Zero emerges to aid you. However, joy quickly turns to shock when he attempts to destroy himself along with Vile. Zero’s noble sacrifice grants X a fighting chance to finally defeat Vile. Whether it was on the Super Nintendo version or the PSP version, this moment is truly the most surprising and tragic in video games.
I must say, my top 3 favorite Megaman X moments are as follows:
1) The moment the opening stage began. The energetic music combined with the fast paced side-scrolling gameplay and apocalyptic background made this moment become epic in its own sense.
2) The moment X received his arm upgrade for a fourth blast. This moment was iconic primarily because there was no expectation of an improved blaster, apart from boss weapons.
3) This must be my favorite moment- when I realized that I could use the hadoken upgrade to defeat Sigma and his trusted companion in one shot. While the hadoken was a great moment on its own, it would not be a defining moment unless that power had some unique characteristic to it, such as defeating bosses in one blow.
My favorite Mega man X moment was when you first fought Vile on that crazy high way. Seeing him in that hulking Ride Armor was so terrifying! I was like how am I gonna fight this dude! That music only added to my fear of fighting him.
My favorite Mega Man moment was when I first played the game on my gameboy almost 10 years ago haha.
Spent countless hours as mega man fighting off enemies that corrupted the towns technology and is very nostalgic thinking about haha
aw good memories.
The very first time I played MMX at the very beginning. I was so amazed by the new look and actually seeing everything while it was in motion(since I only saw screenshots in magazines back then) so it was just a shock. The blue bomber had changed so much yet it was like seeing an old friend again. I’ve loved the series since the start and just getting a glimpse of it for the first time in front of me sold me on it.
