Bandai’s Next D-Arts Figure: You Make the Call
As we alluded to before, Bandai and Bluefin are looking into fan input towards the future of Mega Man in their D-Arts line. And today we can now say this will be effected with a series of polls to be held on Bluefin’s Facebook page starting Monday.
The first poll will allow fans to submit their desired characters on top of a handful already chosen by Bluefin. This poll will run for a week, from January 16th to January 23rd.
Afterwards, a second poll will be held at a currently unspecified time taking the top seven choices from the previous poll and letting fans vote on them. This poll will not have an official end date.
This is a great opportunity you shouldn’t miss! As I said previously, prior efforts ran be Bandai have actually been brought to life. So make your voices heard! Success might be more likely than you think!

My predictions for the top seven are: 1.) Sigma X1, 2.) Axl, 3.) Ultimate Armor X (X4-X6), 4.) Alia, 5.) Falcon Armor X, 6.) Black Armor Zero, 7.) Mega Man X CM version. But I really hope that the X3 gold armor, Marino, CM X Ultimate Armor, Vlie MK II, Dr. Wily, Dr. Light inside capsule, Gate with Armor, X8 Final Sigma!!!!……I want them ALL!!!! Muahahahahaha!!!!
Well, Bass and Bass.EXE were places 4&5 respectively on the last polls so I’m hoping for some hot, sexy Bass.exe action here

as a show of support to the Legends series we should all vote for Mega Man Legends characters if they are even choices.

Crap, there’s so many characters to choose from. We’ve never had a Sigma figure and I’d love to finally get one, but if it’s open to ANY series… I don’t even know how to narrow it down.
Tiesel Bonne would just be awesome though he doesn’t exactly have many accessories he could come with… maybe a Servbot? Hmmm…

this may sound really odd. But I would LOVE to see a Mythos Zero figure, I think that would be awesome. Also I would love to see a command mission varient of X.

no! kotobukiya should handle the classic series since theyre not that slim like X series…
I say Kotobukiya should handle all the Megaman and robot masters. Since they’ve done Megaman, Roll, and Protoman, and any others from the series would go perfectly with them as like Bass, Treble, Rush, Willy, Light, and others.
The Zero series, the Zero they did is ok but not good or very good. They’re style of kits does fit the character but Zero came out with his big head and lack of weapons and easily spots they could of made a parts of or pre-painted, so they messed him up.
As Bandai should stick to the X series or any series that has length tallish characters or not that complicated characters.
But Bandai can do a Command Mission X. It’s been done by a fan so it’s possible. Trigger, is possible too since he’s a lengthy slim character so it’ll work too. NT/EXE series is also possible for Bandai too, but not likely to happen I say as for the Legends series or Command mission either.
I say the best choices Bandai could do for the line is Alia or Sigma. And then continue down the X series to characters like Vile mrk.2, and then Iris, Colonel, Double, then Signas, Dynamo and so on. But in between mavericks. I swear there’s plenty of characters in mavericks.
Plus in mavericks, they’d have plenty of effect parts/weapons. Like imagine a figure of Magma Dragoon from X4 with long fire effect parts!
Even cooler for those marvericks that are big or huge! In the game they were big and huge but imagine in figure form! Like General from X4!!!!! He’d be like a 3 feet tall in figure form!!!! WOW!!!!!

Bass.EXE, his accesories could be his cape and attack parts and effects.

Maybe Sigma “deserves” a figure more than Epsilon, but my gosh, wouldn’t an Epsilon figure be cool? I dunno, it just come to mind. Would be too complicated though, with that huge cloak, and those big cord things on his back, I’d imagine it would turn out kind of fragile.
Anyway, it’s cool they are taking fan input on this. I’ve mentioned it multiple times before, but Marino, Spider, Massimo, Cinnamon…all would be awesome.

I think it should go in order. Because they’ve already done: X, Armored X, Zero, and are still currently making Xile and Zero. Because they only made one villain from the X series they should make Sigma to even it out(or another boss like Chill Penguin). If not, then any Megaman from any of the other series (Preferably Classic or Legends). But it should’nt really be random.
I’d say Megaman Zero but Kotobukiya already made a model. But i’d like to see how a Bandai version would turn out :3.
Legends seriously needs more love.

Nope just because they were in games and released doesn’t mean they exist. They’re like a OVA or a side story, not part of the actual story.
If I remember, there’s a artical here on TMMN too about them not being a part of the X series as the X series was supposed to end on X5 as Keiji Inafune planned but Capcom went behind his back and made a X6, so he rewrote the story to fit X6 which the X series ends in X6 by Zero’s ending which leads to the Zero series. From there Capcom still wanted money money money and made X7, X8 and Command Mission just basically for profit. Theyre not a part of the X series, they never happened. Look it up.

For D-Arts, if anything since Vile is coming out they should make his or a ride armor too!
For Green biker dude, LOL!!! I doubt it! LOL!!! But Sigma is the most suitable for the line. But I have a funny feeling that it won’t happen… Hmmm…

I’m pretty sure a Sigma figure would be hitting the line soon. I know we have Vile on the way but what’s having a toy line series without having the proper Villain of the story? It’s like…Crawfish Nuggets without BBQ sauce! I would love to see an X5 Sigma or 1st Version Sig.

@Axl-fox that is kind of the point… he is KIND OF a megaman character, but to a game we are trying to revive. if they make the Barrett Figure itll kinda be like we are standing up to Capcom to show we still want the game. so i say vote for Megaman Trigger and Barrett…i personaly also voted for Fefnir =p

I vote SIGMA. It would make a excellent addition to my display of all of the figures. Especially since they are so nicely detailed to how the X series should have always looked.
Keiji Inafune deserves to win this one! No one would find it ironic to make a Keiji Inafune figure? That’s what I voted for because it seems like most megaman fans rely on him too much.
