Capcom Unity Adds Mega Man to the Zazzle Store
If you actually have any money leftover whatsoever after preordering all these Kotobukiya figures and what have you, well, Capcom still wants it. They don’t care if you have bills or need bread, they will wring it out of you like dirty water from a rag. But though you’ll be left broke and defeated, at least you might have a pretty cool Mega Man shirt to show for it.
Less depressing version: Capcom Unity has opened a Mega Man wing in their Zazzle store. Here you can browse designs, and then, perhaps in homage to Mega Man Universe, customize the apparel to your liking. Gotta say I like that “hands around the world” design a bit.

….
I’ll be honest. I’m disappointed. Most of these designs look very half-assed. There’s slim few that good even REMOTELY okay. It looks like someone who barely knew an art program slapped these together in five minutes. :/
Maybe it’s me being a picky graphic designer, but these just make me sad…
But I guess I can’t be too harsh. At least they’re throwing up some Mega Man stuff. Now.. I’d really like some X ones.
♪WE ARE THE WORLD, WE ARE THE ROBOTS♫
♪WE ARE THE ONES WHO MAKE A BRIGHTER PLACE, SO LET’S START GIVING♫
Well someone thought this was a good idea, otherwise it wouldn’t have been made in the first place. “We are the World” was the first thing I thought when seeing the pic, so that’s something. Not to be harsh either, but if you got any better ideas, show it please.
Tabby: Compared to some of the stuff I’ve seen at Hot Topic, these don’t seem so bad.
…some are comparable, indeed, but I think most are at least a little better than that store’s common Mega Man dreck.

No I agree with Tabby. I may be a computer animator but I know graphic design and these are definitely 5 minute projects. No effort was taken to make these look decent.
Zazzle stuff in general is pretty awful, really not surprising guys.
I agree, some of the concepts are sound. The holding hands world one is cute, I will admit that.
But even though they’re neat concepts (like the negative image helmet one. Well done concept)… the execution is very weak. Like MXsora said, five minute projects.
The Hot Topic shirts were a little lacking in concept, but at least there was effort there. It didn’t look like an MS paint project like some of these are.
I mean, just a little effort in Illustrator and Photoshop can go a long way even with official art
*cough cough* http://www.digitallyfanged.com/junk/levi-shirt-inprogress2.jpg *cough*
I love the Abbey Road one! Two of my favorite entities rolled into one. I would wear it PROUDLY! lol. I am also fond of the Around the World, A Touch of Light and Face Time designs. Rather pricey though. Even so, I still like the designs!
my favs
Choose Your Weapon
Around the World
Abbey Road 8-Bit
Evolution of Neo-metol
Where’s Mega Man?
Product Placement
needleman….attaked…magnetman….!?
lol ….just kidding
The Ace Attorney wares are generally the same lacking quality, as well. I got almost excited when I saw that category. =<
I think capcom should hire some better graphic designers, because I have seen customer spriters/deviantart artists who could create better then this. I agree with Tabby; capcom I am disappoint.
I don’t think they’re that bad.
Am I missing something?
What makes them “bad” is that they’re lazily done, my friend. I could make a better 8-bit Abbey Road (methinks I’ll make one with Dr. Wily instead of Rush, or something).
Why don’t they just let us use whatever Megaman image we want, while still charging the price as “megaman product”
@Lumine
You can slap on any image it seems :O
Some a lame, but the ones with official art look pretty good! The previous MM shirts have been pretty lame compared to these. Even still, the ones with the 8 bot sprites look too bad for wearing in public.
If you want to see the laziest design, click on the mosaic Mega Man one. They’re actually just the same 10 screen shots repeated over and over again. Seriously, count how many Mega Man 1 stage select screens there are.
@Doctor andy
But if you slap on any image without Capcom permission, they will sacked it
(I tried to make a Megaman Mug last time, and yeah….)
