Capcom*Unity Reveals Next MM10 Promo Art, Mysterious Evil Man Appears (Update)

Man, what is going on with this picture? What’s the huge robot Mega Man is standing on now? I don’t know, but I love it!
UPDATE: I just happened to notice. There’s a little… bird-like creature on the mystery man. This could be a reference to Reggae, Wily’s seldom seen pet. So perhaps this is Wily after all? If so, what happened to him!?

i do think it’s weird how in megaman X-X3 the z buster is godly and then mysteriously vanishes in X4 then comes back in X5 and X6 crappy and then now today completely gone with the exception of tatsunoko vs capcom
there is something odd with the new pic, why is the moon…half blown???
As for comments about Wily’s wealth and how he can afford to travel unnoticed between, say, Earth and a space station…
It’s Dr. Wily. We repeatedly see him having access to teleporters as well as a personal flying saucer just big enough for himself and thus probably hard to detect. So that is two ways he could could “commute”. This is an ‘ultra-tech’ style series with these kinds of things after all. He could also (wisely) be using a “dummy body” to do the actual work in different locations, and while there would be the slight security risk of someone intercepting the information being sent back and forth (data feeds from the base, his instructions to the drone) it is also a lot safer for him, personally. I mean, Wily is building walking guns that can fire themselves. And grenades. And… well, we’ve all seen what else.
So within the realm of the fiction, it isn’t hard to believe Wily can travel between bases relatively unknown, or else it is known and its just background stuff: if it makes it into the games, it’d have to be part of an introduction stage (not unlike the intro stage of Mega Man 8, where Wily did abandon an island base and Mega Man couldn’t stop him).
As for his money, again think of Dr. Wily: he regularly tries to take over the world. Even when he fails, his robots overrun cities, factories, etc. plus he has an army of robots at his disposal. He probably strips anything of value not needed to kill Mega Man, regularly hacks into banks to illegally transfer funds from others to himself, and probably steals directly from mines and other natural resource areas. The bad doctor could even have a subtle streak: ever 10,000 factory drones probably has a small Wily logo and is stealing shipments for Dr. Wily!
This is all fan conjecture, but at least it builds Wily back into a credible threat. XD
And remember Wily pretending to be Mr.X? Maybe he has actual alter egos that earn him money.
Maybe its just an image and the plot will be the exact same thing as all other Megaman games?

It’d be funny if Wily is the third playable character… this could all be a plot to redeem his image: create a virus scare, come up with a cure, and pretend to be the hero (and if he’s lucky, still kill Mega Man!) XD
But getting back to the sub-topic at hand, Wily is a super genius in an ultra tech setting with no morals. In a few games, they should have Dr. Light go insane and take over… and in the end, of course, its really Dr. Wily who’s been impersonating Dr. Light. Bonus points if they do it for multiple games before the big reveal. XD
