Rockman.EXE Official Complete Works Cover Art

Well, it looks like E-Capcom has finally let the cat out of the bag as far as the Rockman.EXE Official Complete Works cover art is concerned.
While the contents of the book seem very promising, the cover feels a bit underwhelming; especially when compared to the covers of all the previous Official Complete Works books. Why they went with such a plain design when there is so much great existing art from the series to work with is anyone’s guess.

Yeah, I mean I understand the white background might seem plain, but it is new art made for this book, at least. It would be neat to see the early sketchwork incorporated into it like the initial preview version had. But that’s the same route EXE no Himitsu took, so this differentiates them in a way. After all, EXE is the one series that HAS already had plenty of artbooks, with covers containing plenty of recycled official art collages.
I wouldn’t say the covers for the RnROCW or R20 are anything mindblowingly cool in terms of design, either. I’m happy they actually took the time to whip something up for this cover. New/guest art for covers draw me in more than existing stuff, personally.
Hrmmm…now, do I really want to pay that price at P-A, or wait for a cheaper version on Ebay/elsewhere…? That’s like a $13 markup!
I would SO get this damn smexy item if I had a damn credit card…
I Love Pictures like that and i hope you bring more Artworks and etc in(I WANT MEGAMAN STAR FORCE 3(you can ignore that when you will.).)and that looks really cool like the other artbooks and im waiting for more artworks and etc

I really hope UDON pick this up soon, I got the Secrets of EXE book a while back but I think this one will top it. Mostly by being bigger. And A4.
Wonder if a Legends or Star Force booklet will show up next?
I hope the new art will be added to the gallery.

Big whoop. Mega Man .EXE has the second lamest artwork in the whole franchise. Wake me up when they make a Mega Man Legends Official Complete Works.
