Ippo Yamada potentially working on new Rockman soundtrack

Famed Rockman composer Ippo Yamada, who has been involved with the music for the Zero series, ZX series, and Mega Man 9, among others, may be working on a new Rockman soundtrack. Thing is, all we know is he’s working on his next CD, with no other particular details about said CD given. The catch? In producing the booklet for the CD, Ippo has so far been interviewing Manami Matsumae (AKA Manami Ietel) of Rockman 1 and 2 fame, and Yasuaki Fujita (aka BUNBUN) of Rockman 3 and 4 fame. Makes one wonder, no?

Hope for a third ZX title rather than a new soundtrack…
While I’d prefer a new ZX title, I would be happy to hear more official remixes to various song. And maybe this time, they could spice things up by choosing songs no one would expect and make them awesome.
But seriously, what’re the odds?
If it is a remix cd, I really hope it isn’t Megaman 1 and 2, because whenever someone remix songs from Megaman it is always 1 and 2, what about 3-8, Bass or anything like that. I’m glad that Nilakantha musician does all even Megaman & Bass as well as the X series.

I agree with mainfinger…no matter what if its new MegaMan music and its from the guy who helped make create MegaMan9…should be more than good especially since he’s interviewing Manami and BUNBUN.
I’m personally more interested in the possibility of BUNBUN’s influence on Ippo.
I’m just saying that I would like to see a more selective soundtrack other than 1 & 2

they made a lot of remix, especially a lot of rockman world, and they are awesome(the rockman world serie’s music are really good).
their remix of wily stage 1 of megaman 9 (not 2, don’t worry) is great! it’s my favortie song of megaman 9.

Their okay, I’m not much into rock, I like this guy a little better http://www.youtube.com/user/Nilakanthanataraja. It has a different feel to it.
I also forgot to mention GaMeBox, Beatdrop, McVaffie, and Disco Dan from OCremix have a very unique style when remixing as well. I’m curious to see what Ippo does since ZX’s music is beautiful.
