Rumor: Return of MegaMan NT Warrior & Star Force Anime Online
Recently, I lamented my inability to see the MegaMan Star Force anime, as a result of it being confined to the US-only and now-defunct Toonami Jetstream website, with the DVDs only being available in Europe’s Region 2.
However, it seems that there may still be hope for people like me, who would love the opportunity to see this and more of NT Warrior, as the following news comes in from Viz Media‘s appearance at Wondercon:
“Just got back from Wondercon, my last stop was at Viz’s booth were they talked adding an assortment of licensed anime to Cartoon Network video such as Naruto, MAR, and suprise…Megaman Nt Warrior/ Star force! An official annoucnement is suppose to be coming soon, they didnt specify a date when the video service would launch.” — 102b, to Protodude’s Rockman Corner
Of course, whether or not this only means the episodes that have already aired previously, such as MegaMan NT Warrior, MegaMan NT Warrior Axess, and MegaMan Star Force‘s first season, or further episodes from Rockman.EXE Stream and Beast, or later seasons of Ryuusei no Rockman will be aired remains unknown.
At the very least, this seems to indicate that Viz has not forgotten the property, and will hopefully capitalize on it with some new DVD releases. Combination subbed/dubbed DVDs might be a bit much to hope for, but who knows? At least hope is alive.

Didn’t they mangle quite of a few NT Episodes? Somehow, I don’t really see the Japanese audio thing working out unless they also include the full Japanese episodes, or release an “unedited version.”
Shame we never got Stream. Stream looked somewhat good.
I’ve heard it that Kids’ WB is as likely a culprit on that– which seems to be a non-factor now.

Huh, and to think I was going to send a letter to Viz asking about NT Warrior. When they took down Jetstream, they promised they would put the anime episodes on another host. The only thing I found from that were subbed Naruto and Bleach episodes that they were hosting somewhere else.
This is exciting news for me! Since I’m pretty much the only one who liked NT Warrior. Still, it’s coming back! (Hopefully?) Thnk you Viz!
I would so love to have seen stream and beast, and starforce! I got upset when i couldn’t find any episode except 2 seasons of starforce (eng sub, and a bit difficult, not yet season 3), 5 of stream, and 18 of beast. Everything else was just in jap or few clips subbed. Never understood why it got off the air tho, made a great series….
I would love to see Stream, Beast(+), and Star Force dubbed. (I don’t care if the Japanese VAs are better, I want to hear it in English)
That sort of abandonment they did was awful. This makes up for it and hopefully there will even be more merchandise.
Yes! I did see a few parts of Megaman Starforce in English on YouTube, but since Jetstream was shut down, we’ve been missing a lot of stuff there and we didn’t finish our dub. But thanks to this news, now I know why we want Anime back on Cartoon Network. =) Because CN is been all sucky since Federal Crisis of 2008, they better bring Anime back to Cartoon Network, NOT just action junk. WE NEED STAR FORCE!!
Clone Wars and the new Batman series have been pretty good so far, but yeah, CN needs MegaMan back on their lineup.
man this would be a dream come true! if CN shows megaman nt warrior stream and the rest of starforce then teletoon would eventually air it in canada

Is it still coming out today or any word of it coming out still cuz it has been 7 months now unless if they working on dubbing the episodes?
I would love to see Solo/Rogue in action.I wonder what kind of VAs they’ll give him cuz I was thinking Mark Gatha or the guy who plays Paul in Pokemon:Diamond & Pearl.
