Capcom considers more DS titles
As reported by Siliconera, Capcom’s Q&A conference call for the third quarter of the fiscal year reveals the company is considering more DS titles besides the Ace Attorney game currently in the works. I was a little surprised to realize that, despite the great success of the DS, Capcom only released a few DS titles in 2008.
Others may be pleased to know that Capcom is looking into releasing the Wii title Monster Hunter 3, provided North American and European markets show enough interest.
As Mega Man already has a fairly good showing on the DS, and we’re pretty certain Capcom has a new Mega Man game in the works, it goes without saying we’ll likely see a new Mega Man title on the DS this year. Nevertheless, information has been pretty sparse besides the occasional rumor, so all we can continue to do is wait.

ZX3 please!
I loved ZX and ZXA. Advent fixed a lot of the problems I had with the first and transforming in to the many different forms was awesome. Battle Network and Starforce, though not bad games, don’t hold my interest nearly as much as the platformers.
Yeah, I’d love to see a 3rd ZX game. That or an X9, but that’ll either never happen or will be on a platform that I don’t have (PS2). Maybe a Legends 3 on the DS? It’s got more than enough processing power. These’ll probably be the last MegaMan games for the DS, since the DSi is coming out, and the cameras and SD card slot and whatnot.
I think that Capcom need to make more MegaMan games for consoles, because I think that the hand held games are getting more attention than the consoles.
I think the ZX series is really awful and I hope it dies off as quickly as possible. The Battle Network games were great and the story of the first Star Force was surprisingly good, so I’m hoping this third one lives up to that story and amps up the difficulty. I’d really like Mega Man X9 more than anything, or a new series that plays similarly to Mega Man X.

I wanted to smack the main character in star force upside the head. I hated that guy, so incredibly whiney.
Maybe ZX3 will come out considering the rumor, which was about playing with promethius and pandora.. but meh who knows.
What about that scrapped Mega Man Mania for the GBA? They could bring it back for the DS maybe similar to the PSP Mega Man Powered Up.
