Classic Rockman commercials

I don’t mean to sound like a Japanophile or anything, but the commercials Capcom of Japan produces for the Rockman games are so much cooler than the ones we occasionally get in the west. I was always a big Mega Man fan, but if I’d seen these commercials as a kid they’d have made me doubly pumped for Mega Man! The following video contains commercials for Rockman through Rockman 7 (excluding 6). I think they’ve gotten around a bit by now, but they’re still a lot of fun to watch.

Some of those were seriously awesome.

WHY DO WE GET SUCH CRAPPY COMMERCIALS IN THE U.S.?

    “I luv meagman” …ugh.

The Mega Man 3 commercial was dope, don’t front.

Oh yea, we still haven’t got our hands on the Rockman 6 commercial yet. Sorry in advance for that. Rockman X and Rockman 3 were posted together on a news post months ago. Happy to see them again. Oh cool, they picked the long version of the Rockman 5 commercial. ^^

HOLY CRAP, BLUES WITHOUT HIS HELMET! I can’t believe that all this time there was a COMMERCIAL that revealed what he looks like without his helmet. And from the game he premiered in, no less!

I wish we could get full remixes from the commercials… All five sound like really great mixes and actually retain the style of the originals.

  6. Pity these weren’t included on Mega Man Anniversary Collection, or the X ones on MMX Collection.

Seriously. we get the worst commercials for Megaman. usually just a bunch of kids going nuts over how they love legaman, or that fat kid who couldnt stop playing X collection. funny that they included the ultimate armor gameplay clip in that commercial…
