From The Mega Man Universe

The name Zero has been assigned to different characters:

• 1993 - Zero (X Series), one of the main characters of the Mega Man X series. An ace Maverick Hunter, he is the last robot created by Dr. Wily who ironically becomes X's greatest ally.

• 2001 - Zero Nightmare, a clone of Zero featured in Mega Man X6.

• 2002 - Zero (Zero Series), the same character from the X series who becomes the hero of the Mega Man Zero series after awakening from a century in stasis.

• 2003 - Zero.EXE, an alternate version of Zero who appears in Mega Man Network Transmission.

• 2006 - Model Z, a Biometal from the Mega Man ZX series containing the soul of the X/Zero series character.

Aside from the characters, the name has also been associated with certain locations and elements:

• 2000-2005 - Area Zero, the site where the remains of the space colony Eurasia crashed, and nature flourishes centuries later in Mega Man Zero 4.

• 2000 - Zero Space, the final stages of Mega Man X5. The destruction of Eurasia and subsequent crash causes a spatial distortion which temporarily merges the real world with Cyberspace.

• 2000 - Zero Virus, a more powerful strain of the Sigma Virus created by the combination of Eurasia and the Sigma Virus in Mega Man X5.

Zero should not be confused with:

• 2004 - Omega, an entity created by Dr. Weil from Zero's body who is sometimes referred to as "Original Zero".

Zero is also in the title of the eponymous series. Therefore, all related games, merchandise and licenced material bear the Zero name. These include:

• 2000 - Mega Man Zero, the original GBA game from Inti Creates and its subsequent series of sequels.

• 2004 - Remastered Tracks Rockman Zero, the first of the series of albums created by Inti Creates to complement each game of the series.

• 2004 - Rockman Zero, the manga based on the series published by Coro Coro Comics.
