Rockman & Forte, a title not released outside of Japan until on the Gameboy Advance in 2003, is a curious halfway point between Mega Man 7 and Mega Man 8. The music has more of that video game-ish, melodic feel, but the taste is still quite jazzy and cool. Even the boss battles are fairly subdued sounding. Not one of the most outstanding MM soundtracks, but not bad either.
