The legendary Red Reploid Zero, back from his century-long slumber, destroyed Copy X, one-time ruler of Neo Arcadia, and helped Ciel and her friends escape from certain doom. Putting the partially-destroyed Resistance Base behind her, Ciel joined with other Resistance forces fighting against the regime. She accepted a mysterious Cyber Elf from Elpizo, commander of the new Resistance Base, and devoted herself to finding a new alternate source of energy. Meanwhile, having lost its great leader Copy X, Neo Arcadia made one of its Four Guardians, Harpuia, its leader and continued on with its scheme for controlling the planet. Contrary to Ciel's aspirations for peace, Elpizo was bent on handling things through force. He initiated Operation Righteous Strike, a full-on attack on Neo Arcadia, only be be tragically defeated by Harpuia's retaliating forces. Still hungry for power, Elpizo set his sights on the Dark Elf, said to have trig- gered the Elf wars, and started down the road to destruction. Having taken the Dark elf from its sealed resting place in the depths of Neo Arcadia, Elpizo was sure he now possessed ultimate power. But the Dark Elf was too strong for Elpizo to control, and he was defeated at the hands of Zero. Though the Resistance avoided a repeal of the tragedy that was the Elf Wars, be- hind their relief loomed a shadowy figure who had long been hoping for the revival of the Dark Elf. AND SO... ... one day, long after the Dark Elf nightmare has passes and the Neo Arcadia attacks have subsided, news that a giant spaceship has crashed down on a snowy plans makes its way to the Resistance. Learning that an energy reaction as strong as the Dark Elf itself is erupting at the crash site, Zero, Ciel and their Resistance friends set off to investigate. ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// == REPLOIDS & HUMANS ==================== ZEro One of the Maverick Hunters who fought alongside X in the Maverick Wars, Zero was found by Ciel in his sealed slumber in the underground research facilities. He helps the persecuted Resistance fight Neo Arcadia. HARPUIA, LEVIATHAN & FEFNIR Three of the Four Guardians who have been presiding over Neo Arcadia after the death of Copy X. Leviathan and Fefnir have forgotten their duties and spend all their energies trying to defeat Zero. WEIL Expelled from Neo Arcadia 100 years ago, this scientist is an expert in the tech- nology for creating Reploids. DARK ELF Type of Cyber Elf said to have triggered the Elf Wars. It was sealed inside the original X, but was set free at the hands of Commander Elpizo. CIEL This young scientist, who used to research Reploids and Cyber Elves for Neo Arc- adia, is currently working to develop a new alternate energy source in order to end the struggle with Neo Arcadia. CERVEAU This engineer works on developing new weapons for Zero, and also assists him by deciphering encrypted Secret Discs. REPLOID RESISTANCE Working at Resistance Base, these Reploids provide Zero with information and send useful items to the Reploid hero. CYBER ELF X X sacrificed himself to seal away the Dark Elf, working as a Cyber Elf. However, when he is destroyed by Command Elpizo, the Dark Elf is freed! ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// == COOL MOVES ============= ATTACK Press the Main Weapon Button to use your current weapon. It is an older model of the hand-held weapon used by the Resistance. It can be upgraded by the Z-Saber. Zero has the Buster Shot from teh start of a mission. It can be charged up to discharge a powerful attack. Z-SABER Zero inherited this beam-sword from Cyber Elf X during his century-long sleep in the underground research facilities. Even though it is the most destructive of the four Sub Weapons, it can only be used in hand-to-hand combat. Timing is crucial to success! When charged up, the Z-Saber can perform successive EX Skill tricks and Charge Attacks. RECOIL ROD (NEW!) Cerveau envisioned a powerful new multi-use weapon and created the Recoil Rod! Charge it up to send enemies flying, and even shoot directly below Zero or jump high in the air while firing! SHIELD BOOMERANG THis is your total defense solution against the enemy's energy bullets.
