Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter Gets Equipped with PayPal

Have you been dying to donate to Comcept’s Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter, but lacked the ability to join in due to the program’s use of credit cards and Amazon Payments?

Well, worry no more! Mighty No. 9 is breaking down yet another barrier by now accepting PayPal!  Whether you’re located in the United States, Japan, or somewhere else, just visit this page and you can make your contribution!

 (Why are we shouting?)

In any case, it’s worth noting that as of this writing, there are 12 days left on the Kickstarter, and the project has already reached $2,311,474 of its initial $900,000 “now we can actually do this” goal. So what’s left to contribute towards? After all, we’ve already secured it for consoles.

While we’re still quite a way from the $3,300,000 needed to put this thing on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and there are two mystery stretch goals before that, the most immediate goals are the $2,400,000 needed for a challenge mode, and $2,550,000 for an added level and boss at the end.

Then there’s the sweet spot: $2,750,000 to bring Beck and Call together to trash some bots in an online co-op challenge mode. This is one a lot of people are hoping for, and with PayPal now an option, it will be interesting to see if there is enough of an upswing now to make it so.

Comcept also notes:

All money collected via PayPal will be added towards
achieving stretch goals; also, the higher, limited reward tiers are not
yet available for purchase via PayPal, but they will be soon — and they
will still be extremely limited, and in fact limited per region. So if
you’ve been waiting on something special in particular, we suggest
jumping on it quickly once those become available! Thanks!
