Mega Man Legends 3 Prototype Version Contest Entries

Devil_Twin01

Hi! I go by ChainSaw on the internet and I wanted to sign up for the Megaman Legends 3 contest. For my entry I made a website:
http://rockman-datasbase.yolasite.com/

I’ve never made a web-site before so I don’t know too much about copyrigth rules and stuff. If there is anything wrong or considered copyright then some pointers or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks you!

MegaMac

I was originally going to create this little video back when Legends 3 was first announced, but I never really found any drive to do it. Recently however, The Mega Man Network is holding a contest regarding promoting the Prototype Version in any way possible. So I figured now was as good a time as any! It came out better than I had hoped, but it was difficult to do so. It may seem simple but timing the audio and text provided a challenge! At any right, listen to what the video says and support Legends 3! =)

Voice: Myself. If you would like me to voice act or narrate for anything, please let me know!

Press Start

Hey, this is Press Start, or Daniel, or Servbot303.

For my strategy to spread the word about Mega Man Legends 3, I planned on targetting gamers who were indecisive about the Legends series. I figured if I could do something postive for them under the Legends banner, they would associate that good nature with the series next time they saw a news snip about it.

Initially, I set out to do this by offering “free” sketches of anything. My base of operations was http://buymml3pv.wordpress.com, and the only price I required for a sketch was a shout out to others about Legends 3. Unfortunately, I barely got any requests. I still drew sketches of both Legends and non-Legends thing, but I clearly was not getting very far.

http://buymml3pv.wordpress.com/2011/05/02/sketches-for-promises/
http://buymml3pv.wordpress.com/2011/05/04/gameboy/

So, I moved on to making a Flash game. I created Punt or Pet with the basis of having easy to understand gameplay mixed with my wacky sketches. I got a much bigger response from this effort, earning a link on Protodude’s blog and “Mega Man” on Facebook. It was fun making it, and the encouraging praise from everyone felt good.

http://www.facebook.com/megaman/posts/149504605118274

Still, this was not enough. Most of the people who were playing Punt or Pet were already Mega Man fans, so I came up with yet another game. This time, the gameplay would be a bit more in-depth, and take obvious cues from the mainstream favorite Metroid. The Legends series is actually similar to Metroid in a couple of ways, so I figured the game would peak fans’ interests.

Making this game was nothing like Punt or Pet. In order to ensure a challenge each time, I had to make a map generator that plotted out ruins from beginning to end. That alone took a couple of days, and then I had to start making the actual graphics and game mechanics. Overall, it took longer than expected, all the way to the end of May.

http://buymml3pv.wordpress.com/2011/06/03/mega-man-legends-3-proto-mission/

I finished up my campaign with one last game, released just today. “The Rocket” is kind of between the previous two games in complexity, and hopefully people will enjoy it.

http://buymml3pv.wordpress.com/play-games/

While I do not feel like I reached out to enough people with this campaign, I really felt like I created some things that might have some long lasting appeal to promote Legends 3 online. If anything, it at least offers something for people to play until Prototype Version comes out!

Rocket

Hey there! I’m Rocket, and I’ve been working on an entry of sorts for the contest.
My contest entry is a development blog for a fangame for Mega Man Legends 3– a pinball game– walking readers through the ins and outs of actually making a pinball game– with Mega Man Legends being the center piece– on your computer.
Sadly, for all my research and moderate success in putting together the tools and resources to make the pinball game a reality, by the time I’m finally geared and set to get the blog on the road, the contest deadline’s come up just this same week! XD
Statistics-wise, less than a thousand people have drifted across the blog since it went live, with no one dropping a comment yet.
…well, this blog-and-fangame effort wasn’t going to end with the contest. Next time though, I’ll spend more time researching how to advertise on the internet a bit more…
Thanks for the time, and here’s hoping for some major turn out from the contest! >X3
Rocket!

Here is my entry for the contest :). During our local Farmer’s Market/ Car Show/ Boardwalk Hangout I wrote in huge letters “Buy Mega Man Legends 3 4 3DS”, the pictures included are actually zooms of the letters, and you can see how big they are in the full shots. When I took the original pictures I forgot to take a picture of the crowds, but I did go 2 weeks later and took some crowd shots, and it’s always about the same (there was also a children’s bonfire that night on the other side of the boardwalk/stoop thing). The image that looks like plain sand is actually all that remained 2 weeks later, a lone letter L. I hadn’t been to the beach in all those 2 weeks, which makes me wonder how long it did actually stay.
I meant “Buy Mega Man Legends 3 Prototype 4 3DS”, but If you couldn’t tell it was in the picture, just trying to clarify 🙂

My entry for the MML3PV Contest is a viral-type video available since May 22nd at the following YouTube address:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95POwgRrcXAThe objective of my campaign is to promote Mega Man Legends 3 through a short video produced to generate speculation through the audience – using a concept similar to the previously cancelled Mega Man Universe title, which had a “Your world, Megafied” motto, my video shows a real world take to a common Mega Man Legends scene, in which Volnutt kicks a can in the ground into proper places such as the garbage can.Audience reaction and feedback is expected through view statistics (such as linking into blogs or forums), comments and “like”s.I’ll keep you informed of any updates into the campaign =D

Thank you very much for the contest!

Servbot #286

Hello Heatman and the network team.  This is Servebot #286 reporting in the progress data for the Megaman Legend 3 Prototype Version promotion campaign.  I did my best of my effort to bring Megaman Legend 3 awareness to my area and bit outside from my home town.  I will restate all the progress I had in May to now.  Most of the flyers that I printed out are from the college that I am in and working the summer classes at WCC in Valhalla, White Plains. The computer staffs were kind enough for me to use the machine.

My first promotion duty was printing out flyers of the MML 3 PV (Megaman Legend 3 Prototype Version) through a local GameStop in Central Avenue, which the employees are familiar with me and agree to take the flyers by distributing the paper to other gamers and stores.  The first batch was about 150 copies given to them and second batch was 100 copies making 250 copies distribute on May.  During the June time I had to recreate the third batch since the news about MML 3 PV delay and send it to the GameStop again since they needed more flyers so I made 100 copies at that time.   I also recently made 20 summary papers about the MML series and the upcoming Prototype Version for the employees at the Nintendo World Store.  The paper explains the Prototype Version game mechanics system and summarizing story so far from 1 and 2.  The reason I did this so the Nintendo World Store employees can read about the upcoming game and can tell customers about it which at first I needed the manager permission before doing this action which she/he agrees to the cause (that store has multiple managers there).  I finally made my final batch of the flyers to GameStop and gave out 150 flyers making 250 papers of June which total up to 500 flyers made and given out at Central Avenue and White Plains area.

So my final result that I made 500 flyers in total and made 20 summarizes paper of MML 3 PV as well a short backstory to MML.  I hope I did okay with it since I had to make sure there were areas I can give out the flyers or finding a place to distribute them.  I hope my effort along with other people did well.  In the mean time I got to work on a mascot for the Bright Bat as well as making a clay sculpture of a Servebot and Data.

To whom it may concerned,
Hello I am a frequent visitor to your website and here is my entry for your Megaman Legends 3:
Prototype Version contest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCdaRsu79-M. My approach with my entry is a commercial using a technique I am currently practicing which is kinetic typography. I did everything from scratch from drawing the Servbot in different poses to voicing the Servbot myself. As of June 10th, I have collected 413 views. It is a collective of views from my channel on Youtube, collegues whom I shown my video to at my college, views from a post on one of my friends’ forums, views from my friend’s website on his front page, and views from a post on my Facebook. I hope this is the kind of feedback you all are looking for and thank you for judging my entry!Signed,
Amber Aldridge a.k.a sonicchic1

Daniel Jreisat

While the main part of my project has not been deployed the wheels have already begun to turn.  I am a gigging classical/flamenco guitarist currently in a guitar duo, and my project is playing a Mega Man tribute concert promoting MMLegends 3 prototype edition.  We will be performing not only songs from the Mega Man series but also songs from other popular game series (mario, street fighter, etc).  The flyer, which is attached to this email, is already posted all over Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach.  I will keep you updated as time progresses.  Please let me know if any other information is needed.

All the best,
Daniel Jreisat
————————————-

Update 1: Attached to this email is the handbill that will handed out at tonight’s show not only promoting the Mega Man tribute  concert but also the Prototype Edition.  Stacks of these will be left at friendly establishments around town.  Please note the handbill will be about the size of a postcard, and although there is color on the pdf they will be in black and white.  Oh and if you were wondering why Mega Man has long hair and a beard in the flyer, it’s because I refashioned him to look like yours truly.

All the best,
Daniel Jreisat
——————————————–
Update 2: So the next step in my project went beautifully!  Tons of people at last nights gig that were pumped about handbills with MegaMan on them.  Its really nice to see how many people, of all ages, really dig the blue bomber.  Lots of the folks I talked to seemed generally interested in MML3, and the majority of them will be at the tribute show. I’m hoping these people buy the prototype, mainly for my selfish reasons of wanting Capcom to make MML3.  Ha!
——————————————–
Update 3: I checked back at the establishments where I left handbills, and about 90% of them were gone so that’s good.  Also, at this weekends gig more megaman songs were played along with promotional announcements and handbills.  I will try and get some audio clips of the Megaman tribute concert on the 20th either from my iphone or direct in through the soundboard.  If I’m updating to much let me know (just excited).
———————————————–
Update 4: Learned/reinterpreted Cold Smile In Ressonance for dual classical guitars, should be a nice addition to the concert.  I will make sure to get you a soundboard recording of this.  Another addition, I’ve decided to give out some prizes just some random things we have: our album, gift certificates, etc.  Doesn’t cost us much, but more incentive to get people in the doors.
——————————————–

Update 5: Here is the tentative setlist (and song styles) for this weekends show:Set I:Introductions/MML3 “plug”

MM II: Dr. WIly’s Castle (Classical)

Super Mario Bros 2: Overworld (Gypsy Jazz)

MM: Elecman (Classical)

Street Fighter II: Vega’s Theme (Flamenco)

Super Mario Galaxy: Comet Observatory (Classical)

Raffle drawings/MML3 “plug”

MMZ: Cold Smile in Resonance (Classical)

Banjo Kazooie: Click Clock Wood (Classical/Fingerstyle)

Super Mario Bros: Medley: Overworld – Underground – Water stage (Classical)

Super Mario 64: Jolly Roger Bay (Classical)

MM VI: Dr. Wily’s Castle (Classical)

MML3 “plug”

Set II: Originals and covers of flamenco/classical songs with MML3 “plugs” throughout.

———————————————–

The next few emails I will be sending will contain photos’s and audio of the show.  Also, I wasn’t extremely pleased with the performance of Cold Smile in Resonance on Friday night so, as a gift for you and myself, I made a recording of it this weekend.  I might add that the show went great. There was a nice turnout and the raffle was fun.  This email contains some photos the next will be audio.  All the best.

———————————————

Here are the audio tracks.  They are as clear as we could get them.  We got a buddy to record them on his smart phone near the speaker, unfortunately because he was close to my speaker you can’t really hear Jordan’s guitar parts all that well in the Vega theme.     Also, about the extension of the contest I am against it, because I feel it’s a little unfair to the folks who put their time and effort into a project to meet an allotted time.  I am all for promoting Legends 3 more, but that can also be done outside of the contest rules.  For instance, I am planning another Mega Man concert where I plan to play the entire Resonant Vie album arranged for guitar, but ultimately it’s up to you.  Feel free to post Cold Smile in Resonance on themmnetwork site ;).

Enjoy,
Daniel K. Jreisat

Hey TMMN!

Long time no chat! I thought I’d submit something for this contest of yours because hey… I’m dying for that D-Arts MMX at the least.

My idea for the contest was to create something infectiously cute, or rather, something that could infect the US with a large dose of kawaii while profiting in the process. I came across some Super Mario keychains at Toys R us a few weeks ago that I couldn’t pass up. They came in a set of 3 and sold for about $7.50 altogether. I’ve included a picture of 2 of them in the attachments. So I thought, wouldn’t it be great if the same thing could be done for MML? Sell charms (or keychains) individually while injecting society with something as equally, if not more so, cute than “Domo” or “Hello Kitty”, right?

Voilà! The servbot charms were born! These little buggers are essentially the different faces and emotions of the servbots, plus a few originals (Bonne Family symbol, Bon Bonne). The art is based off of stuff I found on the internet, with the basic servbot head template based on some contest that Capcom had a while back.

What are they?

– Servbot Charms! Join the Air Pirates!

What can you do with them?

-Almost anything! Put them on your bracelet, your anklet, your necklace, your earrings, your keychain, or even on the slider of the zipper of your jacket! Show them off to the world!

How much does it cost to make? (semi-estimates from local metal printing shops)

– 1 Aluminum sheet (0.040 gauge, 10″ x 14″) plus vinyl or applicant and punching them out = Roughly $30 – $40 per sheet.

– 60 charms fit on one sheet. Each charm is roughly 1.25″ x 1.25″

What is the profit?

– $2 each? That’s $120 minus $30 = $90 (Probably the most reasonable price for charms)

– $3 each? $180 – $30 = $150. This all depends on the quality of the charm and metal, of course.

What is the appeal?

– Collect them all, find the rare ones, catch people’s attention with bright yellow colors and cute faces! Variety and rarity (limited supplies) are key factors here.

Where can people buy them?

– Hot Topic (lots of kids go there), official Capcom kiosks at E3, the online Capcom store, and so on.

In conclusion, something that costs so little to the consumer while being incredibly applicable could collectively make lots of profit for Capcom. I am including the .png template for the charms in the email (if Capcom wants the .psd, well, that’s up to them). I would have printed some charms out to pass out, but it seems no one in my hometown is capable of cutting out small metal images because the vinyl could slide off. I really wanted to give some away for free too… ah well. Maybe I just need to keep looking. If I manage to make this happen, I’ll update with a second email with pictures of models wearing the charms. Later!

————————————

Hello once again TMMN!

Here’s the follow up to my previous email. I found a few places that would be able to help, in some way or form, with my project. At a jeweler, the molder said that making a mold of one character would run me $150, and any derivatives (charms) of that mold would be $80-$100. This was out of the question, obviously. I only had roughly $30 to work with!

The only individuals that could do this for me on a budget were FedEx. I wound up changing the material too, because there’s no way in heck I’d manage to neatly cut aluminum or metal for this type of thing without the use of a jigsaw. The print job on the plastic was a bit lackluster as well. You’ll see that in the photos, the servbots have brown dots all over them. The only ones that looked nearly unaffected by the print job were the skulls.

This is what my budget got me:

7mm Jump Rings (144 pieces)                                    = $3.24

Earring attachments                                                   = $3.24

2 Plastic sheets (0.040 gauge @ 12” x 12”)                  = $28.28

20 Legal size papers                                                   = $2.00

1 Hobby Knife                                                             = $4.00

_____________________________________________

Total = $40.76

Extra Materials & Tools:

Hammer & Nail (for punching holes for the jump rings)

Wooden Cutting Board (for cutting on)

Clean Metal Nail File (for sanding)

2 Pliers (for managing the jump rings)

Time (Lots of it)

Production

After receiving my product, it was time to cut them out. Luckily, the plastic was thin enough for me to manage and cut with scissors. I have to say, this project has to be the most meticulous (and physically exhausting) one I’ve ever done, but yet so rewarding! I cut and sanded each one individually under pale moonlight, and then I placed them all in hoop rings and a few on earrings. I had no idea that, having done the skulls, that I’d have created Tron Bonne’s earrings. I was so psyched!

I created over 55 charms, with the exception of Bon Bonne. I wound up only giving one Bon Bonne away, because the job of cutting him out and sanding him was incredibly difficult. I’ll talk about this in the Things I learned while making this section. Afterward, I taped each one to a single flyer. Then it was time to distribute these.

Distribution & Feedback

The point of doing this was to get the word out about MegaMan Legends 3 while distributing (for free) something I personally created. My target audience was anyone not appearing older than 25 years old, and no younger than 5 years old. I visited two Gamestops and a mall. There, I distributed 45 charms and flyers today. Here are some interesting statistics for you:

Out of the 45 people that received flyers and charms, 2 people knew what servbots were! One was a female Gamestop employee, and another was a boy with a 3DS at the mall.

In fact, the child at the mall approached me after I gave him the flyer, and asked what the progress was on the Prototype of the game. To avoid seeming like a CAPCOM employee, I told him that decision was up to CAPCOM, and there might be something at E3. He then said he would attach the charm that I gave him to his 3DS. I was flattered.

What I learned from this project

1.)    There are MegaMan fans in my hometown. Awesome!

2.)    I created something that I’ve always wanted, and what made an array of kids smile. It seems there is a market for these types of charms..

3.)    Like with any chemically constructed material, always cover your mouth and nose while sanding & cutting.

4.)    Cutting sharp corners became incredibly tedious, especially with Bon Bonne. If I were to do another project like this again, I will have the characters punched out for me, and I will rework the lineart in photoshop. I would even do new characters that are easy to cut, like reaverbots.

5.)    Working with plastics is potentially dangerous. I’d propose using metal for anyone interested in doing something similar. If the process calls for the use of power tools or heavy machinery, please have a professional nearby to assist.

6.)    I have exceeded my artistic limits. I know now that if I want it bad enough, and if I put my mind to it, that I can achieve it.

7.)    I consider this project a huge personal success. Creating something that I can use and give away is a very rewarding feeling.

8.) The work involved in manually cutting and filing the charms is very exhausting and time consuming. For anyone interested in doing something similar, like I said, I insist that you have someone punch them out for you.

I’m attaching a few pictures for reference. If you have any questions about my project, please do let me know. You can also reach me by cell phone and I’ll give you the number if you ask!

———————————————-

Howdy again TMMN!

Have you all heard of a website called reddit? I made a post today asking for feedback on my finished project. Here’s the link to the thread, with people’s feedback on it. Needless to say, I’m very flattered 🙂

http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/hshc5/i_made_a_buttload_of_these_megaman_legends_charms/

————————————————

Hey fellas! Omar here.

So this is that final update you requested on your latest TMMN blog. Below are all of the replies I sent you, including production costs and the result of passing out flyers with my charms. I’ll also include some photos of my work.

But I’d also like to reiterate the mass amount of feedback I got on Reddit:

http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/hshc5/i_made_a_buttload_of_these_megaman_legends_charms/

When you click, look around the upper right corner. You’ll see some statistics about the thread. Namely, that my thread received 824 upvotes.

So let’s do some simple math here. Let’s say CAPCOM were to create charms like these and sell them at Hot Topic, or Gamestop, or some place like that. Let’s say CAPCOM sold them for $2 each. For something so applicable and within that price range, CAPCOM could make around $1648. If I were to do this myself, I would need to create 12 sheets of charms at $13 each, which would cost roughly $156 all together.

That is $1492 in profit.

Not only would selling something that people want be profitable, but it would also turn heads and create buzz about this game. If I could say just one thing to CAPCOM about my project here, it would be “People want this. This is how I promoted the game and how you should too. Get to it.”

~Omar

PreacherDudeRox

Hey, my name is David Gonzalez aka PreacherDudeRox, and I’m submitting an entry for the MML3PV Contest.
So I made a channel promoting my MML3 campaign (Super Servbots).
As of June 12th, the channel has:
-118 Channel Views
-439 Total Upload Views
-4 Friends
-and 4 Subscribers
What I did to promote MML3? I made a rap song titled “Super Servbots,” which recieved 328 views and 12 likes and no dislikes. (It also received 11 comments.)
I then promised those who liked the song a music video for the song; a video that would be released on June 6th.
On June 5th, near 11:58 PM, I released a teaser for the music video; but it only received 6 views LOL.
But as soon as 12:00 AM hit, I released the music video, and as of now, it’s at 103 views with one like.
I managed to involve my high school’s B-Boy group in the video, and it turned out nice. They loved the song, and they were impressed with the demo videos (for MML3), but I obviously can’t prove their reactions haha. But yeah, they liked the idea a lot.
The song itself is filled with MML references and general rap references, blurring the line between Mega Man and Hip Hop.
Also, I promoted the game and my rap on several forums online, even showing them a sort of “promo art” for my song:
That was also well received.
Right now, I’ve promised the fans a new MML3 love type rap song about Roll Caskett and Mega Man Volnutt.
That’s expected to come out in at least 2 weeks.
Here’s a sneak peek in the lyrics, especially for you 😉
Chorus:
Up in the sky, in the starry night
Is my blue bomber telling me its alright
Yes I’m red, and yes he’s blue (me too)
And my life will turn back to you
He says I’m returning soon, I’m returning soo-soon.
I’m returning soon, I’m returning soon…
I’m returning soon, I’m returning soo-soon
And my life will turn back to you

Verse 1:
She’s building herself way to reach Elysium
Her heart ain’t mad, she’s just mad that she’s still missing him
Some are dissing him, but of course she disagrees
She knows his return is soon, not break up no debris
No broken hearts, though the communication shattered
She’s just hoping when he’s back, all of that wont matter
If she had one wish to somewhere, in another place
She would wish, just like this, to be with him in space
For her to shed a tear, she understands that thats just typical
but for them to hate the man, thats just freakin critical
She awakes, and realizes the she still has to wait
but she knows hes coming back hes not coming late
She ain’t like most girls, they never have these problems
She’s just hoping someone will come and solve it
The love they’ll have won’t be ordinary
Like those super servbots, it’ll be legendary
He needs his Roll back, so they can always Rock
DJ DAX on the second track, with that beat on lock
Not an imitation, shout outs to the Station
Do you need my explanation or interpretation bout gravatation so our illustration is flirtation?
Rather a demonstration for the earthy nation about Mega Man’s love life situation?
Baby girl I hope you get my situation…

I hope that you consider my entry wisely.

Oh what am I saying, you guys probably know more about Legends than I know about MM in general xD

Anyway, thanks for taking your time to look at my entry. I really want the 3DS, MML3PV, and all the other prizes, but it has been such a great experience regardless; especially since I’ve learned so much about Mega Man Legends. And the more I know, (since I talk to my friends about video games all the time) the more my friends know. (indirect advertising? haha).

I’ll be updating my entry later again, but if not, just keep checking my videos’/channel’s views and stuff.

Thanks.

This is my sumission for the ML 3 promotion contest. This is a Flash
animation I made for a contest to promote Megaman Legends 3 (Rockman
DASH3).Enjoy!

If you want to see the high quality Flash versions then you can check
them out on

Deviantart: http://fav.me/d3h9jr6

Newgrounds:http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/570813

Or if you refer to watch it in video form you can watch it here on Youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBvcd5aF7w8

In addtion I am sending this as a status update, since I just uploaded
it and it hasnt gotten many views yet. I was plainning on resending
this email on the final date May 31, since it will have more views
then and much of your judgment will be based on the response of fans
and potential customers. So, I wanted to asked should I just send
another emial with the links and with a similar message on May 31? Or
will this already be on record as a submission, and you will just
check the repsonses and views after the due date.

Btw on Newgrounds is more for artistic flash games or animations and
if viewers down vote a game or animation it can get blammed (deleted
from the site for have a low score). Even though the animation is all
good, some poeple not like that I am promoting agame since it is not
really something creative and completely original. I have high hopes
for it though, since recently I have seen some crappy stuff survive on
newgrounds, and some of the older users complain newgrounds is loosing
its orignality (everyone is making sprite flash movies, usually Sonic
or Mario related). However there has been an upsurge of Super Smash
brothers, Halo, COD, etc video game parodies, so I could be
overeacting and it may get a really high score. Some poeple dont like
when others make animations about video games because they don’t
consider an original. So as far as your judgment goes be lenient on
Newgrounds its pretty tricky, however, like I said earlier the culture
on newgrounds is changing and little more lenient, it seems more stuff
is being judged on quality rather that content. Everyone is on Youtube
so that will a good promo spot, and on Deviantart I submitted it to
the Megama Evolution and Megaman Legends groups I dont think anyone
has ever submitted an animatino to them so I know they will get a kick
out of it.

I’ve used the usual FaceBook and Twitter venues. I’ve added to that a self-made papercraft MegaMan figure which my followers can download. I’ve also printed a few hundred of these papercraft flyers that are distributed at various GameStop locations around my town. The flyer can be viewed/downloaded from here http://dl.dropbox.com/u/20993236/0001zg.jpeg

I also included the following text to illuminate why we’re marketing this game and how they can help with the development.

MegaMan needs your help! Capcom is set to release MegaMan Legends 3 Prototype Version for download on the Nintendo 3DS this month. Once you get your hands on the demo you can help them develop the final game by visiting… www.capcom-unity.com/devroom

Here’s a follow up on my work to get the word out about MegaMan Legends 3

Here are pictures of all the places i dropped off flyers (around 300 total flyers), GameStop and a local used VideoGame stores.

Here’s a photo showing a map of all the places i distributed photos.

This is a photo showing how many clicks i got off of twitter for the Capcom Devroom and my MegaMan papercraft. The clicks total clicks are 67 and 18 respectively, while the lower numbers are clicks on those specific URL shortners

These are examples of the tweets that I had retweeted based on the MegaMan contest.

Me and my friend for this contest used my streaming channel on Justin.tv (link here http://www.justin.tv/greatmuffin1 ) to promote the megaman legends 3 prototype with a 24 hr megaman marathon. It  turned into a 27 hour because the last game we played, Megaman legends, we didnt want to stop till we beat it all the way through. My channels welcome message explained the prototype the title for my channel explained it, and anyone who came into the chat we told them about it and talked video games and megaman with them. The videos of use playing through these games are on there for my followers to watch, and my friends who direct ppl to my channel on facebook can also watch. I was going to make a video of highlights and such from the stream, but time ran short and im the only video editor in my group of friends lol.
