I’d actually like to see a remake of Mega Man 6 since it’s probably my favorite of the series. They can have it with updated graphics and, if they can have better controls, I’d let them do it in the style of MMX7, since it seems like a good idea, just executed poorly.

Mr. Green here with a project update for everyone:

The game is coming along nicely. With the release date coming in about a month, I felt it would be appropriate to send out a game trailer to show some of the things in the game; I guess you can say like a teaser or promo trailer. The goal is to have it up by June 1st, so keep checking in and I’ll make sure LBD “Nytetrayn” gets the video. I thank everyone for their support in the project.

P.S. — To Duncan; I haven’t forgotten about you and intend to message you once Part 1 of X9 is completed

P.S.S. — To ForgotMyNameHere; alternate endings and pathways will be done. Also, the armor has been decided (it won’t be the neutral armor), but X will have the Command Mission look.

I found it’s funny because the “fan” is blaming the fan now. Cry babies or not, they are actually OUT NUMBER than the like of you, that’s the sole reason why Capcom US decide not to make it come to here. Everyone has the right to say if he/she likes the game or not without insulting other people. And Capcom also has the right to do it or not for their own benefit. Respect it, and that means you respect yourself

I will say this: Retro did a good job keeping the visual styles of the Metroid universe and breathing new life into it. I do not think that an all out overhaul of the game is what I want. Not when there is so much history to reference and draw upon. If they reboot a series I want to see it go in a direction I didn’t expect, not a fanfic of how things would have been different if this one predictable and overthought event occurred. If this art style and story direction are taken, I would hope they don’t use the ‘Zero has to kill the real X’ angle and take it in its own path.

Granted I am an X fan. For once I would like to avoid playing any typical FPS where the character defects and becomes mad with power. I don’t want a repeat of Legacy of Kain where Dr. Light got it wrong and X becomes mad. The role X had, that he chose to exile himself after constant fighting, died, and passed the torch to Zero, his antithesis and lifelong friend, is a better role. I like Zero. I loves him in the Zero series. I personally have a hero worship complex of the incorruptible person. X was literally this. He had all this power, and instead of falling amd become corrupt he snapped, taking on a role similar to Obi Wan and urging Zero to pick up where he left off.

I’d love to see MMV (GB version). Those Stardroids sure need some love, and deserve better than to be part of a somewhat rare game.

Doesn’t matter if it’s 2D or 3D, but personally, I’d lean towards 3D -since it’s the standard nowadays- mostly because the relative obscurity of the game along with its differences with other “Classic” games allow for a different take on the franchise without it feeling hostile for veteran players.

Obviously, talking about 3rd person gameplay, emphasizing its platformer roots – although it could go into 1st person view for scouting and whatnot (similar to Metroid-Other M).

It’s art like this that makes me wish more effort was gone into the gameplay, and was perhaps on the 3DS instead so it could have proper depth.

i’m sorry but no, this project if announced would have only been insult to injury for what capcom has done so far to megaman. if they were to do a new fps megaman, it sure will not be this.

i want something that is cannon to the megaman universe, not something ugly like those call of duty trendy games. give me the real megaman and i won’t care if it’s 8-bit or not. but to bring back this? no, the fans will not be happy if they bring back this project. i’m not supporting this in anyway due to that reason.

You know, when I first saw Metroid Prime my first thought was, “disaster” but it turned out I was wrong. It became one of my favorite games of all time.

Yeah this wouldn’t be a new traditional Mega Man game, but I think there is room in the world for a game like it. I say bring it on.
