A Look at Your Signed Archie Mega Man Poster

You may recall Archie's special offer of a Mega Man poster signed by artist Patrick Spaziante for preordering a subscription their forthcoming Mega Man comic series. Well, it appears those posters are already on their way out! In fact, our own Tabby received hers just today. Because of the size I've cropped out the autograph part here, but you can check out the whole poster after the break. It's a pretty nice sized poster! And remember, preorders for the comic are still ongoing!

Mega Man Gigamix Available for Preorder

Just to make things more official (if they weren't enough already), you can now nab a preorder for Mega Man Gigamix vol. 1 on Amazon. Amazon currently has the release date set at May 17th. Yeah yeah, we've all heard the snubs about UDON delays. But with as big a seller as Megamix has been, it's all the more reason to get these out on time!

Check our previous post for a little more info about Gigamix. Hopefully an official press release will be on its way soon!

Subscriptions Begin for Archie Mega Man Comic

If you've been looking forward to Archie's upcoming Mega Man comic series, then you can go ahead and pre-order if you like. Archie is now offering pre-orders for year long subscriptions at the discount price of $22.50, saving you $13.38 over buying them all individually. It'll save you a trip to the store, too. I suppose that means at least 12 issues are planned so far! The pre-order offer is only available to residents of the United States and Canada.

Preorder Your D-Arts Rockman X Figure

Because you know you want to. Right now, Amiami is offering them for 25% off the standard retail price: just ¥2,400 (roughly $28.74 US). The figures will ship in late April. I will definitely be grabbing one!

If you're not too keen on the importing aspect yourself, Protodude's Rockman Corner also reports that Big Bad Toystore is offering preorders for $39.99, though they will not ship until May.

Harpuia and Phantom Figures Incoming

Hey you figure freaks. Still keeping a smiling face with all these Kotobukiya and Bandai toys? Well try these on for size. Tatsu Hobby, who originally imported SAGE's fantastic Mega Man Zero styled X and Zero garage kits, are now planning on bringing out two more Zero series figures exclusive to their shop: Harpuia and Phantom. Roughly 5.5" tall when complete, these figures come in fully color cast pieces and assemble easily, requiring no joint parts. Both figures also come with their signature weapons.

They're not on the budget side, however. Each figure will run you $51.85 US. What's more, the figures also need to reach a minimum sales allotment to even go into production. As of this posting, Harpuia still needs 5 more preorders while Phantom is in need of 7. So if you're really wanting these figures, rally some figure fans to order some too!

Preorder Your Rockman 10 Original Soundtrack

Inti Creates will be releasing the Rockman 10 Original Soundtrack in a month, containing the collaborative works of over ten musicians who have worked on music throughout the Mega Man series. If you're looking it preorder it, you have one option so far with CD Japan. I'd also keep an eye out on Play-Asia and VGM World, as they should be adding it to their stock sooner or later. It's uncertain if importing will also nab you the Inti Bonus Disc Vol. 1, though in my experience the first shipment that importers get has always included bonus items, if any were offered. We'll keep you updated on sites to make sure you get the best deal. And of course, I'm pretty sure lots of Mega Man 10 music samples will be coming out next week.

e-Capcom offers special edition OSS drinking cup

A100019631010I've ordered Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star already. I'll get it and probably enjoy it. But I did not order it through e-Capcom, so I will not be getting this special edition drinking cup which they are giving to people who preorder through e-Capcom. Sadness. The cup is equipped with a straw that can be capped. But what's even "cooler" is the double Rockman image on the cup that turns blue when cold contents are poured in. Definitely what you'd want to be drinking out of while busting some viruses in OSS. I, instead, will be drinking out of my Harkens Theatres 2009 value cup. Sadness. (Since LBD is out of town right now, this post will not be called 2 Rockmans 1 Cup. I apologize.)

Preorders are go for Operate Shooting Star

If you're looking to import Rockman EXE: Operate Shooting Star then Play-Asia has you covered. You can now preorder the game, which costs $44.90 (plus shipping). What's also interesting is the loosely translated description Play-Asia gives for the game.

Rockman Exe is ported to the Nintendo DS with new upgrades. The battles system is easier to learn, part card battle and part action, both old and new gamers are going to pick it up in no time. There are new scenarios, a certain enemy, clockman was controlling the flow of time, defeat him and discover his motives.

More people could play together. Turn on your Wi-Fi network and ask a couple of friends to join you on your quests and mini games. A maximum of 6 people can do battlee together in the Rockman Coliseum.

While the battle screen we saw before indicated the classic Battle Network system, I have been curious why descriptions keep referring to it as card battle and not chip battle. Whatever it indicates, we'll see.
