Dorkly Ranks Mega Man 10 on 10 Most Frustrating Achievements in Xbox LIVE History

While Mega Man 10 may have shown some mercy with the inclusion of an Easy Mode, it also provided what Dorkly considers one of the most ruthless challenges ever conceived in the history of Xbox LIVE in order to earn an Achievement.

Coming in at number three is the infamous "Mr. Perfect," which requires clearing the entire game without ever being damaged:

Mega Man has always offered up plenty of challenges to everyone involved: Can you try to beat the game without looking online to see what order you should play the stages? Can the developers come up with new villains without resorting to ridiculous stuff like Bubble Man? Can someone explain why Rush can’t help you out through the whole stage instead of for brief periods of time? He’s a robot dog, not a goldfish that can only live outside for a few seconds. Anyway, Mega Man developers came up with an especially cruel challenge with this achievement. You can absolutely, positively NEVER sustain any sort of damage throughout the entire game. That includes the back-to-back-to-back-to-back (etc.) boss fight at the end of the game, fighting Wily and all of his bot-men in a row. If you can actually put in the time to get this achievement, you will certainly have thrown enough controllers to obliterate your living room wall. And you don’t even get wall-powers for that.

And what does the "Mr. Perfect" Achievement get you? 30 GamerPoints for your GamerScore. One has to ask themselves: is it worth it?

Mega Man 10 Achievements for Xbox 360 Revealed

Mega Man 10, much like Mega Man 9, isn't just about returning to basics and retro chic appeal - it's about bragging rights too! Today Xbox360Achievements.org has revealed Mega Man 10's achievements for you to bump up your Xbox Live gamer score, if you so desire. They are as follows: WHOMP WILY! - Clear the game once. BLUE BOMBER - Clear the game in under an hour. SUPERHERO - Clear the game on HARD. HARD ROCK - Make it to a boss room without getting damaged. HEADBANGING - Defeat the 8 bosses without your helmet on. DESTROYER - Defeat 1000 enemies. WORLD WARRIOR - Defeat one of every type of enemy. TRUSTY SIDEARM - Defeat the 8 bosses with just your default weapon. NO COFFEE BREAK - Clear the game without using any energy, mystery or weapon tanks. TENACIOUS - Clear the game without continuing. INVINCIBLE - Clear the game without dying. MR. PERFECT - Clear the game without getting damaged.

The achievements seem mostly the same as those for Mega Man 9 as well. Interesting, though, that this time there's an achievement for clearing the game in hard mode. This seems to indicate that hard mode, much like Proto Man, will be available from the get-go as opposed to being downloadable content. Incidentally, I'm also sure Mega Man 10 itself will have many more in-game achievements than these, also like Mega Man 9.
