While we still don't have details on just what Jasco's "Mega Man The Board Game" will be about, they have just recently opened a Facebook site for the game, which promises updates and information in the near future. And as you can see, they're also sporting some artwork from the Archie comics (can you tell which issue?). Anyway, it's a good place to keep an eye out for updates. Of course we will keep you informed on details as well!
Remember "Maverick Hunter," the recently-revealed Iron Man meets Metroid Prime first-person shooter concept which had just a smidge of Mega Man to it, and was ultimately denied the coveted green light of progress by Capcom? As it turns out, though a lot of people didn't really care for it-- as a Mega Man game, at least-- there are still quite a few who did. Perhaps even you, the person reading this right now. If you count yourself among the latter, then you should know that you're not alone.
One fan of what he has seen, Godfried Weihs, has started up a new Facebook page, complete with its own petition which hopes to garner enough support to get the game put back into production. "I realize it's a long shot," he admits, "but I figured it's worth trying. I thought that if maybe this game got enough attention, hopefully Capcom would notice both this and Mega Man Legends 3, hopefully putting them back into development."
He adds, "If these people could turn Metroid into an amazing FPS, I'm certain they could do the same for this game."
At this point, we think Capcom is still trying to determine how best to proceed with the Blue Bomber, so anything may be possible yet. Only time will tell for sure.
Good news, everyone! Well, everyone who uses Facebook, at least: The Mega Man Network is now officially on Facebook! "Wait a second," you might be saying. "I thought you already had a Facebook page? I "Liked" it and everything!"
Well, the simple fact of the matter is that while we've had a presence on Facebook, that one isn't actually ours; it just feeds off our RSS, and we were content to just let it be. We tried reaching whoever set it up, but to no avail.
Having decided we'd like to do more than simply "Like", comment, or share the stories which show up there, we've decided to set up our own official page, and you can find it right here. So feel free to "Like" us there to follow and share in whatever we do there!

Thanks for the tip, Nonspecificloser!
Poll choices are as follows: Roll Caskett, Axl, Command Mission X, MegaMan.EXE, Ultimate Armor, Tron Bonne, Proto Man, Bass, Sigma, and MegaMan Volnutt, with the last two holding the second-most and most votes, respectively. Be sure to cast yours!
A couple weeks back, Bluefin conducted a poll for North Americans on what Mega Man characters they wanted to see come up in Bandai's D-Arts figure line. Starting Saturday, tomorrow, a new poll will begin using the top ten characters from the original poll, such as MegaMan Volnutt, Bass, Sigma and Vile. Bluefin notes that "Choices will be modified to accommodate product announcement(s)." This presumably means that Zero Type 2 won't be among the choices since it was already announced for market. One also has to wonder what will come of Vile. But nevertheless, who are YOU planning to vote on come Saturday? Keep an eye on Bluefin's Facebook page to make your voice heard!
