Sorry things have been sporadic here as of late, but I’ve been a bit busy (click here if you’re interested), but I wanted to quickly pass along this tip I got from MegaSegaDrive that pre-orders for the physical versions of Mega Man Legacy Collection + Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 on Nintendo Switch are now available at some retailers.

The main ones linked by Capcom on their official page are for GameStop and Best Buy in the United States (where it’s priced at $39.99 USD), and EB Games in Canada (where it’s $49.99 CAD). Members of Best Buy’s “Gamers Club Unlocked” program will save an additional 20 percent.

Capcom’s website also notes that “Individual digital pre-orders for Mega Man Legacy Collection and Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 available soon!”

As a quick reminder, Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 is download-only, and you’re likely going to need from four to six gigabytes of space available on your Nintendo Switch regardless of whether you go physical or not (the retail copies include a download code), along with whatever internet access will allow you to download the game.

But, if you do go with brick ‘n mortar, at least you’ll also get this lovely 30th Anniversary cleaning cloth:

In terms of pure practicality, given the relatively meager size of the first Mega Man Legacy Collection, it’s really the cloth and game box/case that are the reasons to go physical on this one.
