S-Class Hunters Show How It’s Done in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite

While there remains much contention regarding faces, character models, and combos in the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, one of the game’s highlights — at least for Mega Man fans — is the fact that this not only marks X’s debut in a traditional fighting game, but also the first time he and Zero get to team up in one as well (which, without X before, I suppose stands to reason).

At the San Diego Comic-Con last month, Rayokarna took control of the S-Class Hunters as they took on two of Marvel’s meanest, Thanos and Ultron, as controlled by EspadaJerome. Check it out:

The first round was unquestionably a close contest, with Zero buying it towards the end, but as anyone who’s played to the end of Vile mode in Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X knows, you don’t want to strike down Zero so long as X is nearby. As for the second? Well, it proves nothing if not that these two are pretty adaptable heroes.

If you’re interested in learning more about X’s combos and versatility, then be sure to check out the other videos over on EventHubs so you’ll be ready for Ultron Sigma’s reckoning.
