Past Mortem Looks at the Career of Keiji Inafune

Back in December’s edition of Ripot’s Round-Up, one item I looked at was the thoroughly comprehensive edition of Stop Skeletons From Fighting’s “Past Mortem” series which focused on the rise and fall of Mighty No. 9. At the end of that video came the promise that they would do a follow-up video which focuses on the man behind so much of the Mega and the Mighty, Keiji Inafune himself.

Skip ahead a couple of months, and that time has come.

“Father? Businessman? Hack? Conman? Now that we’ve broken down the Mighty No 9 Kickstarter campaign, it’s time take a closer look at the man at the center of it all, Keiji Inafune.”

Once again, SSFF has really done their research, even digging up a bit of info on some of Inafune’s other ventures that I myself was personally unaware of, including a mobile development studio named Ding and the seeming fate of Comcept’s game development studio sibling, Intercept.

Incidentally, I’m still kind of bummed about King of Pirates, but I’m a sucker for penguins.

As always, feel free to share your thoughts on what we’ve seen here in the comments below.
