Mega Man X Hit New Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console in NA; X2 and X3 in Europe

Just a quick note for our friends and readers across the pond: Today marks the release of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System classics Mega Man X2 and Mega Man X3 on the Virtual Console for the New Nintendo 3DS system. Do take note of the “New” there, as these titles will not run on a regular Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 2DS handheld.

In addition to the dual-release, there’s a bit of a deal going on as well. Each game is priced at £7.19 (€7.99), but when you own either one, you can purchase the other for £3.59 (€3.99) until August 25th. Not too shabby!

So if you’ve experienced one but not the other, now is your chance to save as you tread into unfamiliar territory. Or you can just snag a better deal on a game you already enjoy — whatever works for you!

As for those of us in North America, the first game of the series has finally made its way here as well.
