A Belated Happy 10th Anniversary to Rockman ZX
I’d hoped to get this up yesterday — the actual 10th anniversary of the release of Rockman ZX on the Nintendo DS in Japan — but time was just not on my side.
Anyway, it’s been ten years since we were introduced to the sixth Rockman series, wherein Inti Creates followed up on their successful Rockman Zero series with new heroes wielding familiar powers in a future that felt midway between the worlds of Mega Man X and Mega Man Zero and the far-reaching time of Mega Man Legends.
For fun, here’s the anime trailer that never really went anywhere:
Too bad, really.
Anywho, Mega Man ZX (as it would be known in the west, natch) was a fun time and begat only a single sequel.
Feel free to talk about the good times or lament how it died too soon in the comments below.
Thanks to Roberto Zampari Caldas for bringing this to my attention!
