USgamer on Why Mega Man Legends 2 Deserves a Sequel as Much as It Needs One

With Mega Man Legends 2 hitting the PlayStation Store this week and potentially bringing all sorts of new eyes to the title (provided that said eyes have compatible hardware, i.e. not a PlayStation 4. Cue sighing), USgamer’s Nadia Oxford has taken to the rooftops of Kattelox and shine the Mega signal brightly into the cloudy night, proclaiming that a sequel is not only what this game needs, but also what it deserves.

“The re-release of Mega Man Legends 2 on the PlayStation Store makes it easy to understand why fans are still upset over the cancellation of Mega Man Legends 3,” notes the article’s opening, before delving into what makes this particular game special — as well as why it’s more apt than being a mere cop-out. Plus, maybe there’s a little bit of hope in there that those who haven’t cracked and downloaded the long-awaited addition to Sony’s servers will finally take a closer look and understand.
