Mighty No. 9 Console Details and More Revealed

The official Mighty No. 9 website has updated with some new info for backers, including the transformation exclusive to certain tiers. Shown in silhouette at right, this is their compromise between revealing it and letting said backers discover it for themselves.

From the post:

We’re proud to present… …actually, what the heck is that!?

We know a silhouette isn’t much to go on, but why not get those gears turning and try to figure out what this new transformation is all about?

What new power does this bring to the table? How will it change up Mighty No. 9? What the heck is that thing on Beck’s head?? You can be sure it’ll add an interesting gameplay twist for our few lucky Beckers. We’d love to hear your ideas in fan-art form, forum comments, whatever! Go on, go nuts!

With the title of their post being “Get in Gear,” I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess that this is Beck taking on the form of an RPM Power Ranger:

(Incidentally, if you’re wondering what that’s all about, Linkara has you covered right here.)

But seriously, though: the bigger announcement is that backer surveys will be going out next week, and they will be accepting them until July 15th.

To help you know what you’re getting into, Comcept has also released the following stats, specs, and other details regarding each platform that the game will be available on. With this in mind, you’re free to change your chosen platform selection(s) until the deadline is up.
