Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Now Available in North America (Updated)

No doubt those interested are already well aware, but just to make certain: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is now finally available in North America.

Those in Europe still have one more week to wait before it’s released on November 28th, however, with Australia getting it the day after. On the bright side, this is a fair bit of turnabout versus Japan, who had the Nintendo 3DS version well ahead of the rest of us, but must now wait until December 6th before getting their hands on the glorious, high-definition goodness that awaits.

On a related note, Vhyper1985 has sent us a tip for the occasion. As members of the press got the game a bit early, some have recorded video now available on YouTube, including the following look at many of the trophies available in this version of the game.

It’s not everything, but it should be enough to whet your appetite for now. You can catch a glimpse of Proto Man 17 seconds in, with Star Force Mega Man at 1:48, X at 5:06, Beat at 7:14, and Zero at 8:27, where he also gets credit for his role in the Mega Man Zero series, despite being visually different from his trophy’s appearance.

Of course, these are far from everyone; we still know there are trophies for Bass and Treble, Roll, and plenty more!

As before, I’ve been working on my review, though it’s not ready yet– online services became active last night, so I’ve been waiting to spend some time with those before running it, as well as a general amiibo review. Both should be up sometime this weekend on Mario’s Hat.

Update: Here you go.

Seeing as the game did launch at midnight last night, though, I’m sure plenty of you have begun playing already. With that said, share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below!
