Battle Turtle 2 Kickstarter Gives Shout Out to Mega Man and His Fans

Since we received a few tips about this… sure, why not?
A gentleman from the great state of Kentucky by the name of Curtis Scifres has begun a Kickstarter to fund a new game called Battle Turtle 2. You can see the video pitch right here:

For those who can’t view the video, Scifres and his colleagues are trying to raise the funds to produce a PC/iPhone/Android sequel to their their original game, a “story of a humanoid turtle and his struggle to save the world from the villain known as Black Crow” which has been viewed over a million times across sites such as Newgrounds and Mochi.

Over the course of the video, Scifres credits “mostly” Mega Man as being one of the original influences for Battle Turtle, and dedicates the game to the fans of Mega Man for the Blue Bomber’s 25th anniversary.
