Check Out This HD Recreation of Mega Man 2’s Intro

YouTube user Rickonami has become known for creating high-definition computer-generated versions of openings and tributes to classic games such as Contra, Castlevania Bloodlines, and Gradius 2 and 3. Recently, he stepped away from the Konami pantheon to create a high-definition recreation of the opening to Mega Man 2:

As you can see, in a way similar to the Contra tribute, Rickonami has incorporated some of the original graphics– well, some of Capcom’s original graphics from Mega Man 7, at least, alongside the new stuff, creating an interesting blend of old and new.
