Mega Man Legends 3 Prototype Version to Launch on June 6th

Nintendo has just announced that, contrary to previous reports, the Nintendo 3DS eShop will be launching on “the evening of June 6 Pacific time.” As such, this means that the release of Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version will also be delayed, and while nothing official has come from Capcom yet, we are left to assume for the moment that it, too, will be released alongside the service as planned on June 6th.
For those wondering, however, this does not affect the current deadline of our Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version contest, which will still conclude at the end of May.

On a related note, this should mean that the Nintendo 3DS will finally have Virtual Console capability, and maybe we can finally start to see some re-releases of the Game Boy titles from the Classic and X series.

Heat Edit: It’s also being reported that the eShop update will hit Europe, Australia and Japan on June 7th. So pretty much a simultaneous release. Let’s make Legends 3 a worldwide phenomenon!
