Mega Man 10 Arrives on 10box 360 Arcade Today

…because “X” always equals “10,” right? Right? No? Alright, moving on, then.
At long last, all are one as the final North American release of Mega Man 10 has dawned, arriving on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 today for 800 Microsoft Points (which is still about ten bucks). Capcom offers up the following words, via Major Nelson:

(ONLINE INTERACTIONS NOT RATED BY THE ESRB) Thanks to the support of all the fans, we at Capcom are proud to announce the release of Mega Man 10! Now fans of all ages can enjoy the newest entry into this historic 8-bit franchise. As a special service to new players, we added an Easy Mode – a first for a classic Mega Man game! We also have some special treats in store for all the fans. This time you can play as Proto Man and try out Time Attack Mode from the beginning. You can also watch play-through videos from players all over the world. There are no refunds for this item. For more information, see www.xbox.com/live/accounts.

And of course, those who have been waiting for this release have relatively less time to wait before Capcom’s other new content begins to show up on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

If you’re reading this and have been waiting for this moment, be sure to come back here later and tell us what you think of the Blue Bomber’s latest. And don’t forget: you have an excuse for playing Easy Mode, thanks to the Xbox 360’s rather questionable D-pad. Thanks to that, no one would hold it against you.
