Yeah, About That Arranged Album...

We somehow forgot to let everyone else that... Well, you know, it came out. Our bad. Site friend GM gave us the business because we forgot about it. We're not gonna delve too deep into that, but he let us show off his review, check it out:

"About that disc with music in it...

The arrange album, done by III, is amazing. It's also totally not what you'd expect after their previous six albums, which were strictly identical, for the most part, in their arrangements to the source material with the rock guitars and electronic beats. This album has a great deal of variety, featuring psychedelic funk, surreal sci-fi, sombre piano pieces, bossa nova, classic rock, swing music, techno, even dark, grinding metal, and it all comes together very well. There's even an epic movie-style track in there, as well as a vocal arrangement, which is customary as of the last two albums, this time of the ending theme.

I'd probably compare it to the music featured in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but with more emphasis on the popular genre from the 70's and 80's that influenced Mega Man's music back in the day. I also think people who haven't heard the Mega Man Zero or ZX albums might appreciate this album more, since the unique, varied arrangements might take the latter some getting used to after years of straight modern rock and electronic music. While a number of these tracks may sound out of place in the actual game, they all sound wonderful. I'd have to say this is probably my favorite Mega Man arranged album to date (the 20th Anniversary rock and techno albums have some serious competition, yes).

As for the people who can't get past the lack of more faithful stuff, look on the bright side. There's always the inevitable congestion of fan-made MM9 remixes that will clog the series of tubes within the next few months.

Also it comes with a preview of the upcoming Rockman Megamix manga by Hitoshi Ariga. Sweet bonus, to be sure."

Pretty dope, right? We can't promise when the OST will be up shortly, if you know what I mean. But we'll get it to you as soon as possible.
