TMMN Jukebox 2
It’s time again for another edition of TMMN Jukebox! We don’t have quite as many submissions today, but we hope you’ll enjoy them just the same.
First up is a submission from TadoOm and BZI MusicProd, a group of amateur musicians, featuring a cover of the ever-popular Dr. Wily Stage 1 theme from Mega Man 2. “We have modified the music in a hard-rock/metal style and we’ve shot a modest video,” they explain in their YouTube video’s description. The rest of today’s Jukebox comes from PrincessLuna on YouTube, who has set out upon a massive undertaking: Remixing every Mega Man Classic song into a Mega Man 7 style. There are too many to include them all here, but following is a selection of choice songs from the collection, and you can find the rest she’s made so far here.

Flame: Yes that’s not very orginal you are right but it’s a good music for start
TadoOm: It is good, and let’s face it– the Dr. Wily stage theme is practically Mega Man’s equivalent of the Mario or Zelda themes, it’s just that well-known. =)
TadoOm: I think Mega Man 7′s Wily Stage 1 is a pretty underrated song that would make a good cover. I always felt it was better than Wily 1 from MM2, myself.
I have no problem with your cover, it’s good, It’s just the theme in general, I have heard it far too much and by now I just dislike it. IMO, there are far better ones out there.
^I disagree, there are not far better ones out there. It’s one of the all-time best and most recognizable themes in gaming. If you are tired of hearing it, that’s fine. But just because you are tired of hearing it doesn’t mean it’s average or subpar. Themes that are played over and over or remixed over and over are done so because the majority of people love it and can’t get enough. Same goes for the Legend of Zelda theme, Contra stage themes, Super Mario Bros, etc.

Gee…I hope Megaman 10 Wily Stage 1 theme is getting some love >.< I like it better than Megaman 2 Wily Stage 1, I can't wait to remake it in MM7 Style, I can understand why some people are tired of hearing MM2 Castle Stage music, however it deserves respect for being the greatest theme in the series.
