Mission Complete: Get Me Off the Moon’s Rocket Launch a Success!

Though there was a 30 percent chance of rain, this past weekend saw a successful launch of Get Me Off the Moon’s five-foot rocket. With Roll Caskett herself (or a great facsimile) there to oversee the proceedings, it reportedly soared 900 feet into the sky before coming back down, its parachute deploying for a safe landing.

We were going to wait for some video before reporting this, but as it turns out, that won’t be available for several weeks, as the crew are busy editing it into a professionally-styled piece to present to Capcom. In the meantime, you can soak up the full details of the event in the group’s report here, take in the sights in their album here, and we’ll bring you the video when it’s ready!

  1. The sad thing, this will mean nothing to Capcom.

  2. TheMaverickk says:

Capcom…. listening to fans when they say they don’t want Mega Man Xover…..

Capcom…. ignoring fans when they say they want Mega Man Legends 3…..

    Sigh.

  3. ForcedUser says:

So, Capcom of America vs Capcom of Japan, the head honchos.

It’s a bummer that CoA doesn’t really have much game control, huh?

  4. Axl-fox says:

My question is: are they going to present it to CoA or CoJ? because present it to CoA will equal to pretty much nothing since they cant do nothing beyond saying “we thank you for all of your dedication please look forward to our future releases” or something.

  5. glaber says:

then maybe, ForcedUser, it’s time that Capcom of America starts fighting for control.

  6. Skybane_Zero says:

For those wondering, yes, our prime focus is Capcom of Japan here. I think it goes without saying that Capcom USA can’t really do much.

  7. Green says:

And I’m guessing at Capcom in Japan, not a crap was given.

  8. Skybane_Zero says:

@Green: Of course not. The footage from the launch isn’t out yet. lol

  9. ManwholovesRockamusic says:

Well I salute them for their efforts anyways.
