Rockman Xover Picking Up a Chat Function

For being a “social RPG,” Rockman Xover isn’t terribly too social, to be honest. Yeah you can send friend requests, but even then those “friends” just appear in your battles as AI controlled drones. Other games of similar nature have features like messaging and even creating groups or teams.

However, it appears Rockman Xover is getting equipped with a chat feature soon (if not already). The circled button on the bottom of the menu is a chat button, although it doesn’t seem to be available yet (I’m unable to play Xover myself at this time). With the ability to chat with friends, players may be able to develop more of a sense of purpose in the game aside from just constantly leveling up. But this remains to be seen with how the feature is implemented.

So…. they can talk about how much the game sucks?

Pac-Man is associated with chats now?…

  3. Recrue says:

This anniversary has not been so mega… man.

    :(

  4. Captain says:

I’m more interested in that new Boss in the banner.
I’m pretty sure that’s an XOver original, right?

Oh, wait. That’s just a Mole Borer from X1 with it’s “arms” cropped out of the picture.

    Damnit, CAPCOM.

  5. Grid Man says:

Yeah, I’m really not getting why that’s Pac-Man….but I do dig that Yellow Devil pose.

  6. Kapus says:

    Hello, Pac-Man.

  7. stealthwoman says:

Well that’s just wonderful. Now we can talk about how much this game sucks.

  8. ZeroX_Syaoran says:

Pacman’s not even Capcom. He’s Namco property right? So I have to wonder: how’d Pacman end up representing chats?

  9. Jhooqe says:

Ugh. Can’t we just pretend that this “game” never happened?

Stop posting articles on it. >.<

  10. aquila0109 says:

They put a chat feature into a phone? Isn’t that a bit redundant?

  11. Cactus says:

It may not be pacman, but just some cartoonish drawing of some guy talking, you know.

But even if that would be enough of a pacman, would that even matter? I mean, pacman is so darn old, maybe they don’t even have anything on it anymore.

ROCKMAN XOVER IS JIVE! Didn’t like it, when i saw it first i was thinking “lol a crossover between all the megaman franchise”, but in the end is a SINGLE ROBOT FIGHTING AGAINST THE MEGAMAN CAST!!! yeah, Xover sucks.
