these tracks are awesome! can’t wait for the full CD!
just a little disappointed that there isn’t megaman 7 on the rock album… also Mr.X stage from mm6, i wanted it on the rock album!
anyway, they’re both great!
Annoyed by Wily Stage 1-RM2, but other than that it sounds good…
I like the original megaman games as much as the next mega fan but can we get some other series’s music? Its annoying to only this series’s music when there are other games that have had hard work put into them…
Reeeeally digging these Techno tracks. Don’t really care for the Rock tracks too much… But then again, I didn’t the last time we got Rock/Techno albums either.
Any recommendations on how to order/import this from outside of Japan when it comes out?

It’s nice to see games other than Megaman 2 and 3 on these albums. =D I’m really loving the sound on those techno tracks so far.
I’m disappointed, they should at least cover every game from 1 to 10 once in each album =/
No 7 in the rock album makes me really sad, because I love that soundtrack, and I really didn’t like the last techno album
@giga-ganon
What do you mean no Rockman 7 tracks??? Look at the techno arrange track list and look at #5 that’s from 7.
@giga-ganon
Nevermind you meant on the rock album I read wrong.
I’m liking the sound of both albums. I may need to import this. It is pleasing my ears.
Holy crap, those medleys are freaking awesome. I’ll pay any amount of money to have these in my hands… Well, probably maximum $30-$40 each.
Once again, there is entirely too much representation from Mega Man 2, and once again, there is yet more of the same tired old Wily 1 theme (and on BOTH albums, how novel). I also think that the overall quality of these is inferior to the last batch of anniversary albums.
Any chance this will be listed on the music section?
Also, yeah. MM2 Wily’s fortress is way too overdone. I’m disappointed they didn’t make the MM3 title instead.
So… I’m not to familur with the music side of games… aside from most the time i enjoy the beat but the sample from the
Techno Mix
02. Title – Opening / Ending Melody Rockman 1,2
reminds me of a track off of one of the Megaman X games… can’t remember which track though. But that might just be me
I’m liking this. Sounds a little less polished than “We Are ROCKMEN” which is not a bad thing at all. Good stuff.
Didn’t we just have three separate Dark Man arranges on the WE ARE ROCKMEN album? And now two more?
Man someone at Capcom must really LOVE that song…
Last time, with the 20th Anniversary Rock and Techno albums, I felt that the Rock arrangements were superior to the Techno arrangements. This time around it feels the opposite, but I’ll wait until the full songs are available to make that determination.
I fully expect someone to upload these once they are released? $80 is a bit much for two cds.
I’ll stick to the We are ROCKMEN. This isn’t really… This is like the arrange of Rockman 9.
my favourite track from Rockman4 is Toadman & Brightman . Unfortunately ,there’s not include in techno album . But many track from techno still addict to me .
@Bob, as long as the arrangements sound nice, I am not complaining.
Wily 1, on the other hand, feels very static. I’m not feeling it.
That MM3 ending is kinda different, kinda cool.
I wonder if these sounds clips are causing the audio fidelity to sound a bit lower than the final product…
I’m really not feeling any of the Rock Album songs at all. They’re all so lackluster and lack any sort of passion in them. And those vocal samples are just plain irritating. Only track I’m remotely looking forward to is the the Rock 2 Medley.
Also, Metal Man sounds nothing like Metal Man. Bad sample cut there.
Techno album fairs a bit better. While there are a few songs that also feel soulless, a few track feel fun and come off as Nuwave or Pop-y. I like where the Wily 7 remix is going and my goodness does Wily 2-8 reek of Star Force inspired. Should be cool.
Neither are definitely ranking up with some of the better remix albums released, but they’re something, I guess.
Puttin’ the ROCK back in Megaman….er wait.
Note: Far East Recording is Soichi Terada. He composed most of the soundtracks in the Ape Escape series, along with the Japanese version(s) of Fantavision.
He also does some great work under the name Omodaka.

(Yeah, I’m pretty big fan, so I’m glad to see him here.)
Well We are Rockmen did a great job. These tracks are also of high quality. But Rockman 2 Wily stage 1/2 is overdone. Good to see Wily stage 2 of Rockman 8.
Wily Boss remixes are so cool. This whole thing is cool! Probably my favorite thing to come out of the 25th anniversary, so far!
“Dr.Wily Stage2 from ROCKMAN8″ always makes me think of MMBN before MM8.
I actually enjoyed listening to them! Really hoping both albums will be available on the iTunes store.
these are ALL amazing!
I loved the Rock ones. The techno ones not so much. The MM8 tunes were cool, though.
Metal Man’s theme sounds way different from the original. I can’t hear the 8-bit medley in it… but these are good. I’m not buying them though because someone will just post them on YouTube or something…
Loving the samples here. If there’s an omission, it’s poor MM7 Wily 1 getting left out in the cold again. That one deserves an official remix one of these times.
No ENDLESS STRUGGLE remix?
Not even worth downloading.
As expected, MM2 dominates most of the list. MM7 and MM10 need more love.
Oh well. I really enjoyed these tracks! All of them, really! I especially love the 3/4/6 final boss medley they had on there. I was also really happy to see Galaxy Man, Splash Woman and We’re The Robots. I’m really looking forward to this one!
It’d be cool if they did a medley of the password songs. I think those are often overlooked.
mm7 and mm8 need more love. these two games have a bunch of pretty good tracks. some of my favorites are frost man, shade man, slash man, turbo man, tengu man (ss version), mm8 opening stage, mm7 opening stage, mm7 wily stage 1,3,4 and mm7 ending.
paying 37$ feels like a bit of a rip for 12 songs a cd, but they do sound amazing. I guess I will have to pass though.
Azusa Chiba’s works are usually fun to listen to or beautiful in a way, so I like what she’s contributed to each sound track. I gotta hear more of her stage select medley.
Based on other games he’s done, Yoshimi Kudo’s style definately comes through in his contributions (even the chanting). Also great stuff. I’m tired of Wily 1 from Mega Man 2 just as much as anyone, but I’m willing to listen to the full version of Kudo’s arrangement.
I wouldn’t've cared who did Wily 2 from MM8, as long as it got done, but Kaneda is someone else I’m familiar with, so I’m hoping for something good. In might in fact be why I thought the Wily 1 from MM8 arrangement on the rock album had a recognizable style. I didn’t even notice he did that one too until later.
I’d love to hear what Manabu Namiki would have been capable of on the Techno album.
Anyway, I think the 80′s vibe on some of the techno tracks is pretty funny, but those may wear thin after a while. I’ll probably listen to all the Mega Man 7, 8 and tracks arranged by the aforemention composers exclusively, and decide to go through the rest later.
Finally, I agree with everyone who said there needs to be more 7 and 8 music. A lack of Freeze Man is criminal. I’ll go one further, though, and add Mega Man and Bass to that list as well.
@Matthew It kind of is a rip-off. For instance, instead of that Megaman 9 Wily Stage 2 Remix where they barely did anything to change it for those 37 dollars, you can listen to this for free: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVaJ0T18Als&list=PL44071FCD96F4A597&index=14&feature=plpp_video
LOL I would gladly pay 37 dollars to not listen to pretentious oc remixes for free
lol j/k but there’s just something about those OC Remixes that just… there’s almost always something about off about them…
Despite all the production and arrangement that goes into them… it’s always very hit and miss with those guys…
The only Remixes that I really liked completely that had anything to do with OC Remix was the Cave Story Remix Project, and even that had some lemons.
@Sinder
Lol, I only care about the Mega Man ones myself.
I’m digging these albums, just like I dug the last albums. I’m honestly looking forward to the Techno Arrange album more this time, even though I only see one track by Shinji Hosoe.
I’m not feeling that the Rock album will be as strong as it was last time. While what I’ve heard of the arranges are pretty good, I don’t quite like them as much as the meaty stuff we got in 2007. I’m also majorly bummed that it doesn’t cover any music from other Mega Man series, as well. Personally, I would have liked to see some remixes of Spade Magnes theme from Star Force 3, or Zero’s theme from Command Mission. Oh well.
Awesomee tracks!! I want it right now!! My favorite is Mr. X Stage well… all of them crapp I´ll wait 4 it!!
Meh…not really that impressed. There are a couple (mm3 ending/opening stage 1 & frostman) that I really liked, but i suppose i’d have to hear the whole thing. Sounds like the previous rock/techno arrange is better to me though. Maybe im being a little bias idk…we’ll see.
