Game Informer and Grega Man Tackle Mega Man Legends 2
Posted on September 27th, 2012 by Heat Man
Here’s a treat for you all you Legends fans. Capcom Unity’s Grega Man teams up with the Replay crew at Game Informer to take on Mega Man Legends 2, arguably the greatest Mega Man action adventure game ever made. You can check out the first hour long episode of their play above. Currently I can’t watch it myself, so hopefully it’s not full of swears or anything (like the comments undoubtedly will be).
Be sure to keep an eye our for the continuing episodes, which will air every Thursday and Sunday!

Huh, surprisingly enough, nothing yet! Well that’s good i guess, that poll from the Devroom finally got put to goo use!
I miss this game. Should never have sold it. Really Capcom just bring it to PSN, copyright excuse? Come on guys.
@mirahsan2:
Don’t forget, there’s a weird contract problem with the voice actors/actresses. At least, that’s a problem for the US version, as far as I know.
@EngineR2
The guy who voiced Tiesel was arrested for possession of bad internet things. So there you have it.
I’m currently finishing Legends 1 myself. I have never finished L1, or even played L2, but I love everything about Legends. The voice acting, the roaming, the music, the suspense when I’m in a ruin… I LOVE IT. It’s just sooooo good. When I finish Legends 1, I’m going straight to 2. XD
Wish me luck at the Main Gate! XD
I wonder when they reach the ending of the game Gregaman might say:Hey,I wanna know what happened after(SPOILERS) Volnutt get stuck in the moon
Oh wait we canceled the sequel so I’ll never know what happened…dammit
“Mega Man Legends 2, arguably the greatest Mega Man action adventure game ever made.” Coldn’t have said it better myself Heat Man.
@Engine R2
They could always redub the game with new voices…Then again, this is Capcom we’re talking about.
did we play the same Mega man legends 2 here? greatest action adventure?
I remember hours of no real exposition, levels that looked ripped straight out of ocarina of time, a mega man that sounded like a girl, the story between the actual parts of the story were like bad fanfiction, enemies who were introduced for us not to care about, 100 questions written by someone reading an encyclopedia set at the time, 5 hours of the water temple, trying to run from one door to the next, 5 hours of the water temple falling down that one pit… forever, killing most bosses with the active buster, which you get really early in this game, killing bosses faster with the drill arm, machine buster was utterly useless in this game.
what were the actual good points of this game?
I love legends 1, but legends 2 seems like terrible fan fiction.
@erikthered
everyone is entitled to their opinion
Just because you think MML2 is bad doesn’t mean that you have to make everyone thinks so.

most of Anime teen characters sounds like this especially in the Japanese dub.Ever heard how Luffy from one piece sound???
I used to have this game, but then the disc cracked. =[
I agree on the voice acting for Megaman in 2 being a very odd decision. I also hate his newer character model in this game. It just bugs me for some reason.
@Snake, I’m not making everyone think so, I just want someone to please present a good point about it.
Also, regardless of whether or not anime teens sound like that, he wasn’t voiced by the mayor of legends 1 in legends 1. He had a very masculine voice. (FYI The voice for Mega Man in Legends 2 is the same voice actor for the Mayor in Legends 1)
They seem to have castrated the poor boy in MML2, which would explain his higher pitched voice and lack of a backbone completely when interacting with roll or tron.
further, I asked “what were the actual good points of this game?”, and you didn’t offer any points, simply rebutted with “well…it’s not THAT bad”
@erikthered: As far as weapons are concerned: I guess you must have really liked the machine buster in MML1 and disliked the drill arm. And you must have done a good bit of grinding and only upgrading the active buster. Hm.
I never really cared for the machine buster in the first game so I never bothered to upgrade it, so I didn’t mind not using it in MML2.
I never played OOT, so I don’t have that point of comparison. I enjoyed the game for whatever reason, though I felt it lacked the coziness of the first one. And the Gameplay was much better.
In any case I think it’d be pretty pointless and a waste of time to point out any good points to you, as your mind is obviously already made up. We’ll just let the people who like the game like it, and those who don’t, not.
