More X and Zero Footage from PXZ

A lot of media is bound to come out with the Tokyo Game Show starting up now. Here’s a small bit of footage from the TGS demo. If you skip to 2:30 you can get straight to X and Zero taking on Firebrand. Pretty rocking version of Zero’s theme, too!

Capcom should let Monolithsoft make a brand new 2D Mega Man X game with dat sprite work.
Kinda off topic here, but I can’t believe they added Iris over Axl… So sad right now
so in the first video we get an awesome remix of X’s theme, in this one we get a remix of Zero’s theme… Customizable themes then? Looks awesome and there is a slim chance for localization, Bandai said if it sells in japan they’ll think about bringing it to the west. Wish i could find the link it was recent…
In the precursor series to this, Endless Frontier and Exceed, the battle theme would randomly be chosen based on the characters in the party.
So it’s back in this with a special theme for each character in a pair and most likely a theme for your support character meaning one of the three themes will play at random whenever it is that team’s turn to act.
It’s also possible that there will be a special theme that plays only when doing their super move like Banpresto did in Exceed.
So either putting X in front of Zero will play one or the other’s theme, or the game will randomly play either x or zero’s theme each time it’s their turn… I’m fine with either or!

Is it just me or does anyone else see similarities between X/Zero and Virgil/Dante? Anyway, Dante’s spirte looks really nice, good to see him doing all those stylish things in that super-deformed cute sprite..

One thing I wish they would do is have it so you can set the Unit’s Music to whatever you want like in Super Robot Wars, That would be awesome but it seems like it’s following the Endless Frontier/Exceed way of how the Battle Music is Chosen……
Either way I’m just more excited for the game! XD
I thought it was Shoryuken too at first, but this trailer has him clearly saying “Rising Fire”.
I’m glad to see Iris is in this. Just hope we don’t have to fight her again…

Ah, Well for all intents and purposes that’s still basically a Shoryuken so if Ryu notices the Hadouken he’s sure to notice how similar that move is……Or at least Ken will cause of the Flame lol
Wow! The more I see of this game the more excited I am to buy it. They are doing such a freaking good job with X and Zero! It’s so freaking amazing! I want one. I SO want one. PLEEEASE bring it to the states!!!
BTW, thanks for these links, Heat Man! This PXZ game is the slight sliver of hope I need as a Mega Man fan.
