Time Keeps Slipping by to Own an Archie Comic Mega Man Page

Ever wanted to own an original piece of Archie’s Mega Man comic? Well, now you can!

Mega Man comic artist Chad Thomas is currently selling original pages from the “Time Keeps Slipping” arc, Issues 05-08. Each page is 11×7 and drawn by Chad with inks by Gary Martin. The pages range from $40 to $75. There are also pre-made pictures, like the Oil Man above, on sale for $40.

He is also offering limited slots for original commissions (one of which I have already snatched up!), $40 for one character and $50 for two. Shipping for everything is $10. So if you’d like to see your original Mega Man character in Chad’s awesome style, now’s the time!

You can see which pages he’s offering and more information on his commissions on his webpage’s store here.

    I would ask for oil man with those big silly lips.

    Mmm… nice offer, Chad is pretty good… I could ask for one of Bass or Duo but… 40$ is so much, and besides I can draw megaman so much like the official artwork myself lol xD.

  3. Aaron says:

    $40-$75? That’s steep!

  4. Tabby says:

    Keep in mind he is a professional. This is a huge deal. It’s the first time I’ve seen one sell/commission for under $100

  5. Phaelin says:

    @Tabby: Indeed. We counted ourselves lucky to pick up some Doctor Who prints at Dragon*Con 3 for $50. Or something like that. Now I’ve gone all fuzzy on the details.

    @Tabby

    well, not only is he a professional, but he’s a known artist, and that makes it worth more.

    you can find plenty of skilled artists on dA for example that have contests and relatively cheap commissions. Some can imitate this guy’s style, and some are even better.

    Unless you’re a hardcore fan of this artist and love the Archie comics, it’s really not worth it. But if someone just has more money than they know what to do with, then by all means, hire the guy, and buy that $3000 sealed copy of X2 while you’re at it… and open it!

  7. Omar says:

    Now if it were Spaz doing these drawings, damn. He can have all my money. I’d probable even ask him to draw one of my dumb OCs for me.

  8. Tabby says:

    @Omar – Spaz is REALLY REALLY expensive. But then, the man’s got experience and age. (Spaz has been doing comics since I was in -middle school-, and I’m not such a young sprig anymore..)

  9. Omar says:

    None of us are young anymore, Tabby :c

    But that’s okay because we can use our money to buy things we always wanted as kids.

    Except for certain games that get canned. Except for those.

    @Tabby:

    I have a feeling you’re waiting until the Proto arc pages are up for sale, right? Actually, I think I might wait to see what he puts up then, too.

    Most of the pages from the Time arc that I would have easily bought don’t appear to be up for sale. #7′s 12/22 and #8′s 21/22 would’ve been awesome to own… :/

  11. Tabby says:

    @Rock – Ehhhhhhn, I dunno. I really hate that hair style.

    But if he sells the cover to 17, I’d be all over that.
