Second Phase of Bluefin Mega Man Poll Coming Tomorrow
A couple weeks back, Bluefin conducted a poll for North Americans on what Mega Man characters they wanted to see come up in Bandai’s D-Arts figure line. Starting Saturday, tomorrow, a new poll will begin using the top ten characters from the original poll, such as MegaMan Volnutt, Bass, Sigma and Vile.
Bluefin notes that “Choices will be modified to accommodate product announcement(s).” This presumably means that Zero Type 2 won’t be among the choices since it was already announced for market. One also has to wonder what will come of Vile. But nevertheless, who are YOU planning to vote on come Saturday? Keep an eye on Bluefin’s Facebook page to make your voice heard!

I have the feeling that they already have their own choice no matter the result of the poll.
Hmm… I’d vote for Sigma since he’d fit very well with the line, but I have a feeling that Voltnutt might win given all the support he’s been getting. To me Vile shouldn’t be on the list like Zero ver.2 since he’s already made but just needs to be released. Bass should go to Kotobukiya since they already pretty much have the main characters or a line going.
I don’t get how people could vote for characters just straight out of a series? Like some want Bass but there’s no Megaman? They want Craft from Zero 4 but there’s no Zero? They want Bass EXE but there’s no Megaman NT? Like I know Kotobukiya jumped to the Zero series but they started off with main character and not straight out Craft or Leviathan, it’d make no sense. You get me? Like I know we’re free to vote for a character we’ve been wanting and such, but still I say to keep it in a sense with the current line or series at least. I swear it’ll be so weird if a off character wins like Gutsman NT. Like on my display I’ll have D-Arts X, Full Armor, Zero ver.1 and ver.2 and.. errr.. Gutsman NT. lol!

Plus whatever happened to stupid Jazwares Inc?Didn’t they have a poll going too months ago/last year basically? I haven’t heard anything from them. What? They’re out? Stating that they have rights to make Megaman figures/merchandise, they finally realized they can’t compete with Kotobukiya or Bandai. LOL!!!!!
I totally see where you’re coming from, Megafan. As much as I’d like to see D-Arts take on Bass, myself, I don’t think it’d be as great without the rest of the classic series gang.
Anywho… I’m sad that Iris didn’t make it into the top 10. That being said, I’m soooo voting for Sigma. If he gets made, the X and Zero figures will finally have someone to fight! Well, I guess there’s Vile, too, but… I don’t think there’s EVER been a Sigma figure before, has there? Yep, I’m definitely voting for Sigma.
Really don’t care for Sigma. Glad that Volnutt is the leading vote.
Hopefully they’ll care about the top three or something and not just the first figure. That will most likely leave us with both Sigma (finally!) and Volnutt (sweet!) and some other character that isn’t Green Biker Dude and therefore does not deserve my interest.
I’ve never modded a figure, but I’m highly considering picking up another X and making my own Green Biker Dude. As far as I can tell, all I’d need to really modify is the helmet and then paint all the armor green… and then somehow get a Ride Chaser.
@MegaSeveN: You could just scour the net for Jazwares’ Ride Chaser. It’s pretty badass, surprisingly. I love mine. I always display it with my extra Quick Man riding it.

Idk…the Vile is definitely a must have. A Sigma would blow my mind…but so would Megaman Volnutt. Hm…and the thought of a Bass figure comparable to the already released X and Zero sounds so enticing. Idk. This would have to be the only instance where I buckle and go with popular opinion and give my vote to Volnutt. But that will quickly change if I see the Falcon Armor on the poll.

As awesome as Vile and Bass are, we’ve seen figures of varying qualities of them in the past from various brands… but we’ve *never* seen a Sigma, nor a Volnutt, I don’t think. Personally I’m not a Dash fan so of course my vote goes for baldylocks, but either way, if we get something totally fresh out of this, that’d be pretty awesome.
Take out the classic and legends figures and I would be happy with any of the rest.

Oh, I forgot the SDCC metallic X, but it’s still just X but just re-painted, nothing actually different, so I meant it as one with regular X. But I do have him though. lol! Comic ver. X no, because not that into it, unless that Comic ver. Zero gets released then yeah I’ll get Comic ver. X.
But I have this feeling that we’ll be seeing a metallic ver. Zero or black armor ver. Zero, I don’t know why… but I say it’s going to happen. Black armor ver. Zero maybe first by a fan though.
You see if Voltnutt wins it’ll make since, he’s the main character and won’t fit out of line with the current line like Bass or Protoman. If it’s Voltnutt it’ll start a new line that might lead to Tron and other Legends characters.
If it’s Sigma, which will be so cool, it’ll continue the current line. The same for Vile but he shouldn’t be on the list, he should already a given since we voted for which joint should go to his shoulder cannon a few months ago! What the hell?!!! So we voted for which joint is better for him, he’s already been shown fully done and complete and yet we still have to vote for him to win?! What the f#%$!!! Vile is just taking up a spot of another character’s chance.

i already got the comic version x, i must admit i love it, but for some reasons, here at philippines im the only one who preordered the CVX… well in any case, yes… i have the feeling too that D-Arts will have a metallic zero v1 and black zero type 2… i kinda hate it, cuz they said metallic exclusive is limited, but they produced so much and ended me getting it earlier… aaarrrghhh! MONEY BURN

yes, we know why Zero type 2 will be release and they remove him from the poll, because they know people will probably BUY him straight… and as for Vile MK I, they had a feeling (I guess) that he will not have a big spotlight because theyre aiming for the heroes imo
Volnutt, for sure. Quite frankly, even if I WASN’T supporting him out of obligation over Capcom’s 2011 from Hell, I’d probably still vote for him. My main choice otherwise would have been Iris, and she didn’t make the cut.

People want Vile. There’s been nothing but praise since the announcement. There’s absolutely no acceptable reason for us to have to vote him in. They made a prototype, and people want it. Let him drop so Ultimate Armor X can move up the list!
@Megafan I completely agree with what you’re saying. Because if random characters from a different series start coming out then there will be a mayor clusterf&#%! In my opinion sigma should come out, vile should be released next, because his figure cast is probably already made, followed by the ultimate armor, Axl and so on and so forth…. But if D-arts decides that they want to get into another series then I believe it’s fair that fans get to vote on it like the way we did for bluefin’s poll. If that were the case, the next series that will probably come out will be the Mega Man Legends series. That’s when Volnutt, Tron and the other characters should be made. But first Bandai should finish releasing all of the possible MMX series figures possible!!!!

Volnutt is great for making a supporting statement for Legends3, but I really would rather prefer Sigma. How can you have X and Zero, but not their greatest adversary standing head and shoulders above them? Sigma, all the way.

You know, if they were to eliminate the characters that Kotobukiya already did, Iris and Storm Eagle would have made it in. I doubt they WOULD do that, but I’m just saying…
Another fun fact, Barrett outdid Mega Man Zero (98 to 92). Who saw that one coming?
For some reason, I thought this was a poll for what the fans WANT. I didn’t know we were supposed to vote for what makes sense to continue a line or something.
And if they made all the Megaman X characters possible, they’d never get to any other series. No other series would get the chance In 10 years.
I think most Megaman fans who like MMZ like him in spite of his appearance, not because of it. “Why have skinny pink MMZ when you could have the original Zero?” I’m guessing that’s the reasoning behind the poll results. Either that or the MMZ fans didn’t know about it.
Well, Slider, I certainly can’t argue with that when it comes to personal experience… It’s just that MMZ Zero seemed to be the more popular Zero design for a long time, up until TvC bucked the trend.

Well yeah we can vote for the figure we each would want, but if Bass or Protoman were to win, do you really want a Bass or Protoman figure among your X, Zero ver.1, and Full Armor????? Think about it. It would make no sense at all. If it was Megaman and then Protoman and then Bass then yeah, it’ll look right. But if it was Protoman first from the series it’d be weird or off. While Sigma would fit in perfectly and Voltnutt would fit in too because that’ll create another line.
