Rockman X4 Zero Ver. Releases in Japan, Rockman Solitaire on the Way
Following the release of Rockman X4 X Ver. last month for Docomo and au phones, Capcom of Japan today has released the version with Zero as a playable character. The game boasts the same high fidelity graphics and sound matching the original PSX game, with minor tweaks for convenience (such as making Jet Singray’s ride chaser stage a little slower, I’ve heard).
Furthermore, Capcom also plans to release Rockman Solitaire for mobile phones starting February 1st. This simplistic solitaire games allows you to compete for best time. Like Rockman Sprite Logic, it will be a Flash game playable over Capcom’s mobile service, and has no additional fee. For a simple game, the logo is still pretty snazzy.

What I meant to ask is, what about the voice acting and cutscenes? Are those still intact?

Why does it feel like Capcom has given the blue bomber the boot, and punish by been sent to mobile phones instead of game/portable consoles. Their margins of cash may have left, but those who stood by them haven’t (yet).
I want a new game. That’s all I want. A new console game ’cause really, mobile phone gaming isn’t the best experience.
And that solitaire better be for Windows as well.

I’m glad they are still doing stuff with Mega Man and all, but really? I kinda wish they would quit screwing around with phone games and make a new console Mega Man. MM11 or X9 is what I would love to see right about now.
Just give me another god damn 8bit Mega Man from Inti Creates, Crappycom. Zero effort on your part and you get tons of money.

Zero was in the X4 all ready to start with Capcom is just being retarded now its so sad that they have to try to do so much just to kill off a guy whos not even real and he leads their comp reguardless they just mad thats all and they are acting like 5 year olds rather then grown men who can program

You guys are getting annoying. If you can’t say something nice, go write an angry letter to Capcom in Japanese.
You guys act like this is bad news. None of this is bad. How is releasing a game that YOU might have, but somebody else may not have, a bad thing? It’s not bad at all. It’s not good, but it’s nothing to complain about. As of now, Cellphone gaming is trendy, so they may as well cash-in on it.
And it’s not like we didn’t already know this was coming. They already announced it, so why are people complaining that they followed through? It’s not like releasing a cellphone port takes away from resources that could be spent on making a new game.
At least give Capcom enough time to MAKE a new game before complaining that they haven’t pumped out some cheap 8-bit cash-in in less than a year’s time. At least give them until July of this year before you start whining about “all I want is a new game, boo hoo hoo”. Goodness.
