Comics Alliance Hails Archie’s Mega Man as “An All-Ages Comic That Deals With War and the Nature of Humanity”

Comics Alliance has posted a new article, which gives an interesting look at Archie’s new Mega Man comic book, which is already on its way to releasing its third issue. And, if the solicitations are any indication, it is already poised to surpass Dreamwave‘s short-lived attempt at chronicling the schoolboy adventures of Rocky Light.

So when Archie Comics kicked off their new Mega Man comic, I jumped on. And while I expected it to offer up some nostalgia-fueled fun, what surprised me was that it’s actually one of the best all-ages comics coming out right now, and one that deals with some pretty intense issues of guilt, death and humanity. Seriously.

The writer, Chris Sims, goes on to elaborate on these statements, and you can read the whole thing right here. But if you haven’t received issue #2 yet, however, beware of some possible spoilers.

That aside, what do you think of how the book is handling things so far? Agree? Disagree? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
