Legends 3 Heroine Contest Reminder
The first project in Mega Man Legends 3′s fan interaction, the Heroine Contest, is still going on strong. Already the contest has gotten over 15,000 cumulative votes via Capcom Unity, Capcom of Japan and Capcom of Japan’s Mobile Site.
Additionally, Capcom of Japan has published some preliminary results. So far the leading design is Shinsuke Komaki’s, followed by “Sensei” Haruki Suetsugu’s in second, and Tatsuya Yoshikawa’s in third (all three pictured above). Incidentally, I know on the Unity side that Sensei’s design leads, so it looks like this race is a pretty close one!
If you haven’t voted yet you still have time, but it’s running out. Voting will run until October 25th, 10AM Japan time, which is October 24th, 6PM US Pacific time. After voting is tied up, Capcom will announce the winner on October 29th! (around 5PM in Japan, 1AM US Pacific). So get those votes in!

This is pretty interesting. It’s just too bad that Inafking’s own design, albeit a variation on Roll, was not in the top three.
I’m all for Sensei’s, but that’s only because I have a bias for Native themes. Komaki’s comes in second, IMO.

All solid choices. I’ll be happy with any of them, but it would be great if they figured out roles for the other two and worked them in.
Komaki’s and Sensei’s are my two favorites as well. I voted for Sensei’s, because I think it would be really cool to see a Native American influenced character in the game, but either one I think fits the Legends style really well.
That third one there is just AWFUL. *shudders*
I would like all three to be in the game!!!
The fact the third one is even in the running makes me feel a bit sick.
I don’t like the thrid one. A bit too reveiling… I feel that the one in the feathers may win.

Voted for Komaki. She seems to fit the the Legends series well, and the character description they gave for the new heroine would suit her too, at least that’s how I feel. Still, “Sensei’s” design is pretty awesome too, and I’d be happy if it got chosen instead. But like so many others, it would be nice if both of these characters got roles in the upcoming game. After all, you can’t have too many pretty girls in a Legends game! ^_^
The one on the left reminds me of protoman, due to the yellow scarf, red hair, and goggles.
I have a feeling the runner up will get in as an NPC of some sort. The voting between the top two in the U.S. and Japan is extremely fierce.
And by NPC, I mean a more minor one than the main new female lead.
I would rather have a male character, Rival/Friend.
I’d be fine with Suetsugu’s or Yoshikawa’s, preferably Suetsugu, I just think that Komaki’s looks too generic.
Just put them all in and let Mega Man walk in on them having an orgy.

I don’t know the names well enough but I believe I voted for #1 up there. I know #2 was leading by a bit when I did.
When I saw the feedback for Komaki’s design on CoJ’s site, I threw up in my mouth a little.
That native american design by Suetsugu NEEDS to win.
Question, how can it be native american if it takes place in a world where none of today’s countries exist?
Anyway, I’m glad the two on the left are in the top three, but what the heck is the one on the right doing here? I mean, do we really want someone shorter than Roll and Tron to have an outfit that skimpy?
I’ll be the first to admit I was drawn to Sensei”s design but I withheld deciding while looking at the designers’ other works. After seeing Sensei had done X6′s Return of the Jedi artwork, I signed up at Capcom-Unity & chose “Tomahawk Girl”.

these designs are very good but I give preference to Shinsuke Komaki design, she looks very cute.
